Pavements, beaches and park connectors should become cigarette-free zones if the ban is extended, say non-smokers.
But smokers fear lengthening the list of places where they are barred from lighting up would leave them with little room to take a smoke break.
Earlier this week, the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources said it was considering extending the ban, which now covers most indoor areas, to reduce the impact of second-hand smoke. However, they have yet to comment which areas are being considered.
Pray hard dear smokers. Your last cigg ay come sooner than you thought.
