Their newest model Sudio ETT wireless earphones, which is the one that we will be looking at today, didn’t disappoint either. It comes in four colours, black, white, green, and pink. And since I stuck to dark colours for my two other Sudio earphones earlier, I decided to go for the pretty shade of pink this time. No regrets when they were delivered to my doorstep because the pastel pink was too adorable.
Like I mentioned in my earlier reviews of Sudio Tre and Sudio Fem, I’m no professional sound engineer and the review here is based on my very honest opinion, and I won’t be able to talk about the technical aspects of the earphones. I guess for someone who just wants to enjoy good music, and has the ease of answering your phones (good speakers and mic) with your earpiece, this review should suffice, heh.
1. Active noise cancellation
Listening to my favourite tracks while I’m on the go is now made better with Sudio ETT’s noise cancelling feature. I can hear the music, with no ambience noise from outside, like the noise of the heavy traffic, or the chit chat of strangers on the MRT. It pretty much kept me in my happy little music bubble!
2. Long battery life, and a carrying case for charging
The Sudio ETT has a 30-hour battery life, and the carrying case offers 4 extra charges should your battery run low when you are outside. It has a 6 hours play time (4 hours with active noise cancelling) and that should be more than sufficient for the average user. The worst thing to happen is to receive a warning that your earphones battery is running low when you are all ready to plug them in.
Using my Sudio ETT at the gym!
3. Quick charging + Wireless charging
Sudio ETT charges really fast with USD-C, and you can get around an hour of playtime with just 15mins of charging. Another plus point, you can also charge it wirelessly with Qi wireless.
4. Great fit
I forgot to include the ear tips when I was taking the product photos, but the Sudio ETT set comes with 8 different pairs of ear tips in different sizes, and you can choose one that fits you best for the best sound and comfort.
5. Dual-microphone with transparency mode
I appreciate the transparency mode when I’m using Sudio ETT as a Bluetooth earpiece to make calls on my phone. With noise cancelling mode on during your music playbacks, a transparency mode setting automatically switches it off to let ambient noise through when you switch over to a phone call so you can better hear yourself speaking.
6. Easy controls
There is one control button on each earphone and with one click, two clicks, or three clicks, or holding the button, you can easily play, skip, reverse, and turn off active noise cancelling (you can refer to the manual for the details). The one-button control is simple, but sometimes I do forget the commands to get to the right actions.
All in all, I love my new Sudio ETT and it has worked very well for me. Sudio offers free home delivery worldwide, and comes with 18-month warranty. Get a 15% with the discount code “cyndisohEtt” on your next Sudio purchase.
