This is a long overdue post but really, good treatments must share. I am always on the lookout for treatments that give me a bright and radiant complexion, and when I heard about how good the new Bellasonic treatment is, I had to book an appointment at celebrity clinic of Singapore, The Clifford Clinic, to test it for myself.
What is Bellasonic and what does it do to our skin?
Bellasonic is one of the latest equipment used in dermatology imported from South Korea. It utilises ultrasound technology to improve blood flow and oxygenation and increases collagen deposition. Bellasonic also stimulates the activities of important molecules in the skin, and reduces the activity of potentially harmful molecules. This improves tissue repair, hydration, oxygenation, and transport of important metabolites to the skin to achieve an overall anti-aging effect.
Some benefits of Bellasonic includes:
• Whitening and decreased redness of the skin
• Increased skin elasticity
• Deep hydration
• Shrinking and closing of pores
• Reduced acne
• Improved blood circulation
• Boosted natural regenerative processes
The Bellasonic treatment
As usual, I was met by the very friendly and helpful beauty therapist and I was led to the treatment room after I cleansed my skin. The beauty therapist applied a gel on my face and proceeded to use the Bellasonic machine to work magic onto my skin.
The beauty therapist used a handheld device to massage my face. Apparently, during this simple process, HF ultrasound from Bellasonos was working to reduce the resistance of skin tissues, and minimising and preventing swelling and bruising on my face. A customised essence was then applied and delivered using the LF ultrasound, which opens up micro-channels in the skin and allowed the treatment medication to penetrate deep into the skin. The essence was customised by celebrity doctor Dr. Gerard Ee to target all my skin concerns. He gave me an essence that helped to hydrate and anti-age my skin. Exactly what I need with all those fine lines appearing around my eyes.
With all these happening to my skin, I only felt a light vibration and slight warmth from the device.
Another reason why I love Bellasonic? The treatment was done in around 20 minutes and nothing is better than that for a very impatient me. 2-hour facials are really not my cup of tea. Heh!

My review of Bellasonic at The Clifford Clinic
Immediately after the Bellasonic treatment, my jawline appeared more lifted, and tired eye area rejuvenated. However, the most obvious change in my skin was how bright and radiant my face was. My skin maintained its glow and radiance subsequently and fine lines around my eye area were very much reduced. On top of that, my skin was soft and supple, and smooth to touch.
I was advised by the beauty therapist that I need 3 consecutive sessions of Bellasonic, once every week, to reap the full benefits of the treatment and see lasting results. I did exactly that, and that said, no regrets!
If you are also looking for a fuss-free facial that really works, you may want to consider Bellasonic. There aren’t many clinics that offer Bellasonic in Singapore, and you may want to contact The Clifford Clinic to try it out. I’ll leave their contact at the bottom of the post if you are keen to book an appointment for the Bellasonic treatment. I mean, you should!
