I didn’t believe that the brightening effect is almost instant, until I tried it on the back of my hands during the media launch. After I removed Philosophy The Microdelivery Detoxifying Oxygen Peel from the back of my left hand, I saw a stark contrast between my left and right hand. And that was when I was sold. Those that saw my Instastory on @xinyicyndisoh would have seen the huge difference.
This innovative 2-step peel delivers the purifying benefits of a detoxify mask and the brightening benefits of an oxygen facial all at once.
Step 1: Detoxifying Charcoal Gel (black tube)
Activated charcoal draws out impurities and barley leaf extracts delivers the first burst of oxygen to the skin.
Apparenty, I applied too little. It should be a thick layer of gel sitting on your skin for maximum efficacy. But, this still works for me though! I’ll remember to apply more the next time I’m using it!
Step 2: Oxygen Foam Booster (white tube)
The Oxygen Foam Booster completes the process of re-oxygenizing our skin with a second boost of re-energizing oxygen in a light and airy foam that activates on contact.
Leave it on for 3 minutes.
Yes, only 3 minutes. I love the fact that it is done in a jiffy.
The Philosophy The Microdelivery Detoxifying Oxygen Peel comes with a Derma Blade (like a little plastic spatula) and you use that to scrape off the products on your skin. Either that or you can just wipe of rinse it off with water. However, according to the consultant at the media launch, using the Derma Blade can mimic an exfoliation which will leave your skin brighter and more radiant.
My no makeup face for you. Oops.
Immediately after rinsing off the peel, you can see an instant brightening effect. It felt like I had months of gunk on my face that dulled my complexion and Philosophy The Microdelivery Detoxifying Oxygen Peel removed them for me to expose my underlying radiant skin. Not exaggerating! Skin’s clarity is improved and I’m definitely seeing brighter skin.
But if you are going to try it out, do it the right way and layer it on thicker! Hehe.. My mistake!
