Last weekend was a sweet and happy one for me. My dearest boy planned a sweet proposal, together with his friends and my family, and it was a wonderful surprise. Before I start this photo intensive post (credits all photos to my sister… stole it from her camera!), I want to say a big thank you to Jon, who put in so much effort to plan this. I love you my dear! You have been such a loving and doting boyfriend and I really appreciate all that you have done for me all the time. Thank you to all the lovely friends and my family who helped him to plan and carry out. All the time and effort you all spent… Thank you!
And it was after that that I realized my Cosmoprof classmate helped out too. Thank you all! We had actually planned a class dinner on Saturday 14th September. But after hearing that, Jon managed to find Wint on Facebook and got her to help out to get my classmates to change the dinner to Friday! Thanks a lot giris!
And so it goes this way. My sister booked me for 14th Sept for a family dinner, giving me the reason that she wanted to surprise her hubby and wanted us to help her. Sounds legit… perhaps not. I was asking Jon why would she want so many lightbulbs around for her anniversary. Hahaha. My sister even replied me that she would prefer to have a family surprise so we just follow her plans that day. Ok. Jon told me he will be working that Saturday and won’t be able to join us at our family dinner. I believed him immediately since he has been working weekends for the past few weeks.
And so I got on my brother-in-law’s car and headed to Vivocity and just followed what my sister said. My bro-in-law even pretended to act surprise when he heard that my sister wanted to go to Sentosa by the rail. So we all headed up to the rail station area and so I’ll let the pictures do the talking now! (^^)
Saw a Doraemon mascot standing there and I was so excited and asked the kids to go and take a photo with it!
And I wanted a photo with my all time favourite character too! The “ladies in charge” even took a poloroid for us! To make me stay and wait, the lady was still flicking the polaroid and asking me to wait for the photo to be processed.
Suddenly the lady started tearing the paper off. The next one after “Free Hug” was “Hello”. Stupid me still said,”Hey the words will change you know!” Then I saw my name… And I was caught by surprise after that!!!!
The whole line goes,”Jon told me that you love flowers…”
At this point of time, a very lovely little girl tap me from behind, and passed me a bouquet of flowers!
My dad is super cute… He told me he didn’t know what was happening till the end… Hahahaha…. He is even more blur than I am…
Daniel the videographer.. Thank you Daniel! Can’t wait for the video!
The last line ask me to “Look behind You”..
And Jon’s buddy, Ken, came out to distract me asking me to look far back and find Jon.
But spot my little nephew’s reaction! So cute! Something is happening there!
And all along I thought that it was a big plushie since it didn’t move any bit!!!
Still in a state of shock but of course its a “Yes!”
That certificate… Edmund designed a “certificate of approval” for him… He actually went to ask my parents for permission a few days back before and got them to sign… Hahaha…
Thank you Sentosa for doing up the screen!
Jon knows that I do not know how to appreciate diamond rings like solitaires and the likes. He customized a ring for me. It is actually shaped like a vintage camera because he remembered me telling him one of the first gifts I asked from my father was a compact camera when I was 11 years old. I was worried that I might forget things that happened when I was older. And I have been taking a lot of photos of people, scenaries, and things that I like ever since. Not to mention that because I blogged, this darling of mine has been my photographer for a while already! Thanks dear!
Jon also got the designer to worked our little nicknames for each other into the design… And look really carefully, at the top right hand corner, can you see a pair of rabbit ears? He insisted on including Kele into the ring design because Kele is my LOVE!!
Thank you for this beautiful ring that is so so me. I love it a lot!
The buddies who helped Jon plan and execute the whole proposal. Thank you for all the time and effort..
And Jon invited my dearest and closest friends to be present for the magical moment. Thanks for taking time to come and be with me my BFFs!
Jon booked a restaurant and we had a family dinner. His two brothers were too shy to join us!! LOL…
My Papa gave him a thumbs up!
Love this candid!
Family dessert time before going home to rest!
When we were home, Ocean was quietly playing by himself in a corner. But he went to Jon and told Jon to look at the bridal car he built for us. So cute la!!!!!!! Apparently this 3 year old seemed to know what was going on. But Nick told us that Ocean got very upset when he thought that Doraemon wants to marry me. Ocean only started laughing and approved it when he realized that it was Jon. Hahahaha… Kids are so so adorable can…
Thank you everyone. From the bottom of my heart.
Thank you my dearest darling. Meeting you was one of the best thing that happened! 🙂
