Mark's Toto Adventure

The toto prize for yesterday was huge… 10 million to be exact. So, Dear Dear decided to pop over to buy a ticket. And… the adventure began…

We don’t buy 4D, we don;t buy Toto. So, this was actually Dear Dear’s first time buying a ticket at the betting centre. He stared at the ticket ( the OAS-like thing where you have to shade the numbers you want) and doesn’t know what to do with it. He took out his iphone and went online to Singapore Pools website to check out what the different systems meant. But still, no instructions on how to shade that OAS-like thing. So, this was what he did….

It was so hilarious! I was laughing so hard when he told me about it!!!!!!!

Instead of shading 6 or 7 (can more or not? i dunno man… haha…) numbers in each block of 45 numbers…. he shaded one number in each block….. muahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then while he was queuing up to pay… he tried his best to peep at other betters “OAS” to see if he was right….of course… he walked back to change the way he shaded them….muahahah!

It’s not the end of the story….

And so my Dear Dear waited and soon he gave that “OAS” to the lady. And he was so nice! He decided to help me buy a ticket of random numbers. He knew that it was called “Quick Pick” and so he asked the lady for quick pick ticket. The lady replied, “How much?” Dear Dear was stunned. Wasn’t that the question he was supposed to ask the lady instead of the lady asking him? So he just looked shocked ( i can imagine his silly stunned face…hahaha…) and after a while, the lady kind of knew that he doesn’t know and told him the minimum bet. Dear Dear remembered hearing his friends bought $2 tickets before, so he decided on that. Hahaha!!

So… that’s the story of my funny Dear Dear and his adventure at buying toto.

Which i kindly shared with my family when we lao Yu Sheng just now and everyone had a good laugh…. hahaha…

And no… we didn’t win anything… hahahahahaha…..

春到河畔！River Ang Pow!

每年的年初三都会跟我的这群姐妹们见面或去跟她们的父母拜年。今年因为时间没法配合所以只好在初六傍晚才一起去捞鱼生！Sakae Sushi的鱼生超好吃的！虽然那边的服务在当天有点 ermmm…

过后我们就到附近的春到河畔去走走，拍拍照。我最后一次去是我十岁的时候。还记得那天爸爸妈妈放假带我们两个孩子出去走走。那时爸爸还一直想买一顶清朝时候男生戴的帽子（还连了一条辫子！）给我戴，哈哈！

那里有十二生肖的摆设灯笼（我真的觉得它像灯笼～）。呃，不是很漂亮耶，我还觉得中国花园中秋节的比较漂亮。

但是还是找到了自己的生肖来拍照！

但是我们已经决定了！Universal Studios一开张，我们就去玩！！呵呵！

我这整个月一直在找棉花糖，自从上次逛街看到没买后就一直很想念它！我们在春到河畔的时候终于看到有个摊位在卖棉花糖！好开心喔！Dear Dear买了一个给我！而且还是蓝色的喔！小时候爸爸妈妈买棉花糖给我一定买蓝色的给我，粉红色的给姐姐！

吃饱了就去玩，玩饱了就又饿了，哈哈。我们到Marina Square的兴旺吃夜宵！

今年过年竟然发烧，吃了药硬着头皮出门去，但是还是很开心。

不开心的是…… 不能吃好料！！！！:(

Eczema…. u people don't understand…

Snooch introduced me to the Flowerpod forum and I just read through a thread on Eczema.

Outsiders will never understand, only the sufferers would…:(

My case of eczema…

1) having skin so sensitive almost anything will cause one patch of itchiness to appear.

2) of course, following the itchiness are the big patches of scars.

3) and yes… scars are difficult to heal… because we have sensitive bad skin.

4) there’s no permanent cure.

5) so stop asking me to consult a doctor or try TCM and think that its so freakish. Who doesn’t want scar-free skin? Trust me… the eczema girls had 987 doctor visits already. Most gave up.

6) the only cream that can relieve eczema are steriods.

7) We can only apply the cream for one week. Its just temporary relief. So once you stop applying it, the itch plus flakiness and redness comes back. So do the scars.

8) steriods has got side effects. it thins the skin and your skin becomes more sensitive.

9) the most moisturizing soap will dry your skin. Had to buy the expensive soap for sensitive skin. I gave up… so troublesome. But im killing myself with the shower foams i bought from NTUC.

10) humidity is one mega trigger for me! and I live in Singapore.

11) i can’t wash the dishes. My hands and fingers will start blistering.

12) i can;t eat many of my favourite food… they trigger the allergic reactions.

13) its itchy and it hurts!

14) i got it from my dad. We used to share the same medications.

argh…..

KFC Egg Tarts!!!!

I went to Nanjing twice for an immersion program in 2005 and 2007, and I fell in love with the KFC egg tarts. Every time we head out to the city or suburbs, we’ll remember to bring a box or two back to our dorm in the little village.

I’ve been missing that delicious egg tarts ever since….

And….

I was so surprise when i realized that KFCs in Singapore are selling the egg tarts now! Woohoo!!

I immediately sent Dear Dear an sms to tell him that… hahah… he got excited too….

the thing is, we were just talking about it 2 days ago when we were sharing our past travel adventures!

I’m going to buy it soon to satisfy my taste buds!

Gatthering at Siang Ping's Place!

先要恭喜Siang Ping要当爸爸咯！我们在吃饭的时候，一直在问Meishan什么时候会生宝宝啊，会不会怕啊之类的话。问到Siang Ping嫂的时候她静静地微笑。我恍然大悟，就转向Siang Ping兴奋地问：“难道你已经怀孕了？！” Siang Ping 回答：“我怎么可能怀孕！” 哎呀！我当然是在指他的老婆啦！哈哈哈！真的很为他们高兴喔！当年在 CJC 嘻嘻哈哈、疯疯颠颠的小男生，现在都要当爸爸咯！加油喔！大家都知道他是个好老公，所以也一定会是一个好爸爸！

还要恭喜Brian喔！已经拿到房子了，简单地说就是人生大事已定！Woohoo! 恭喜恭喜！

今天的晚餐是Siang Ping亲手准备的。Wow…真的还挺好吃的，还是我最喜欢的creamy pasta还有boiled brocolli! 我们买了Mcnuggets和Popcorn Chicken加料，晚餐挺丰富的。本来以为pasta煮太多了，会吃不完。但还好，Brian饿坏了，所以帮了不少忙…哈哈哈…

吃完了就玩PS3… 笑死了… we had a good time on Rock Band and the Ah Bengs started playing Sreet Fighters after that…hahaha! 上次玩过另外一个Band thingie，好像不一样嘞~~

其实…见面就很开心。玩什么做什么都不是很重要…:)

＊＊过后，Brian送我回家。我说，下次来我家玩吧！他说好啊…但是不要煮…………… >_<||||||

I’m a Mac user and got a little excited when I heard that Apple launched a tablet. (Secretly, i was just hoping to use the tablet for drawing… ermm.. heheh… for the “Guess the Sketch” game on Facebook…hahahah!)
