Hello my dearest readers again!
So I recently got the opportunity to visit South Bridge Aesthetics Clinic for their Carbon Laser Peel. Having stayed away from Laser Peels my entire life due to my sensitive skin, I have always wanted to try it out and thought this could be the chance to hence I went ahead and boy am I glad I did.

ABOUT CARBON LASER PEEL
Carbon Laser Peel treatment is a laser procedure for enhancing the skin’s radiance and promoting a smooth, glowing complexion. The Carbon Laser Peel helps to reduce imperfections like enlarged pores that originate from the outer skin layer. The treatment improves skin consistency and also removes the outer layer of dead skin, stimulates the production of collagen and new skin cells in the underlying layers. Each session of Carbon Laser Peel takes about 30-45min, and you will typically see a difference in skin condition after the first session.
The moment I stepped into the clinic, I had really good vibes already! Doctor Winston was standing right behind the counter smiling happily at a customer and I recognised him from the website.
With a really charming personality, Dr Winston is really humble. He is by far one of the nicest doctors I have met who prefers to have very informal consultation sessions by the sofa unlike other doctors. I find this to be the best thing about the clinic. Patients are like old friends under the care of his.
As my intention was to try out the Carbon Laser Peel, I went straight to asking a few burning questions I had with the peel mainly what was the possible side effects, downtime etc. To my surprise, there is no downtime for this procedure. Most patients actually come during lunch time and go back to work immediately after. When I first googled Carbon Laser Peel most sites inserted a 7-10 days downtime for this procedure hence I mentally prepared myself for that but yay it was found to be untrue! Apparently, it was made possible due to the Korean machine they used.
Carbon was first placed all over my skin followed by the actual procedure. The entire procedure was relatively painless. I felt tiny bites all over during the laser but after that it was fine. As I have reddish prone and sensitive skin, I have avoided lasers my entire life thinking it would further worsen it but this laser was really good! I liked the radiance it gave me after. As I had this persistent oil blemish at the side of my face, the laser helped smoothen it out too.
Having already signed up with the Hydra Facial package, I am also considering to sign up with their Carbon Laser Peel package too! Just so you know, fans of Hydra Facial, over at SBAC they are giving 5 sessions at $600! This is by far one of the most affordable Hydra Facial package around. Get the trial at only $98. I have done Hydra Facial before and am a huge fan of it! Read all about my experience here.
Right after the Laser Peel, no redness!
Hope this helps and thank you for reading xx
