Goodal, the latest skincare brand to be launched in Korea is the first ever skincare line to that is based on raw seed fermentation from seven select seeds from the Amazon rainforest. The benefits of raw seed fermentation include increased production of beneficial substances, deeper levels of skin penetration, and higher levels of detoxification.

This vitality is due to the presence of lectin (a type of protein found in plants), which promotes the secretion of cytokine, a category of smaller proteins which has been clinically proven to maintain skin homeostasis, an important process for skin renewal. Studies have shown that cytokines increases cell production and accelerates renewal of skin cells, making it suitable for use on damaged skin barriers.

I like the Goodal Phytowash a lot!

This peeling exfoliator provides gentle peeling but at the same time hydrates the skin appropriately. The creamy serum transforms into a foamy exfoliator after some time.  I like that my skin looks cleaner and yet feels more moisturised after. It also helps remove oil and debris that can lead to breakouts.

Had the privilege to go to Porcelain Face Spa for a Pick Me Up Facial and Revital Eye Luxx. It was a wonderful experience for me.

The session lasts for only 30 minutes hence it is perfect for office ladies who wish to go for lunch yet hope to go for treatment as well. It is a session that saves time! I liked that this session has no extractions hence there is no pain at all. There was no downtime at all. I could apply makeup as per normal right after and even meet my friends for lunch. In fact makeup wasn’t even required! The treatment was soothing and very different from the usual treatments. They used Aloe Gel as a replacement to moisturising creams. Zann my therapist mentioned that Aloe Gel is used instead because cream is too thick and some clients are sensitive to creams.

Eye treatment was satisfying and as I did not sleep well the last few days, this treatment came just in time! Immediately felt my eyes were less puffy afterwards.

Went over to Evolve Hair Salon the other day and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the salon. The staff there were all very friendly and sociable. Managed to meet with the director, Ken. He explained to me the procedures and what is recommended for my hair.

REVIEW

With professional hairstylists in place and good direction given by the director Ken, I really enjoyed the experience. They were able to recreate the haircolor I wanted. As I was pretty bored with the streaks of blonde, I wanted a one colour tone for the hair as it would look better in pictures. Eugene, my hairstylist kindly explained to me and addressed my concerns. He told me that as I have previously bleached some parts of my hair, it was impossible to achieve a one colour tone for the whole head but he reassured me he would try his best and separate the dying process so both colours would not have such a contrasting difference.

I love the entire concept of the place. The layout was fresh, clean and had a very artistic concept. The chairs were really spacious and comfy! I could sit in them all day. There were also tables to place your items on.

DYING PROCESS

The entire process was not fast but then I felt that time passed really quickly. The entire procedure took about 6 hours. I was there since 2pm till 8pm. Eugene did warned me beforehand it would take this long as he had to separate the dying process. Eugene however was very attentive during the entire process and also explained to me throughout why he was doing this and that.

THE RESULTS

He then gave me loose curls as I did not like those very big and strong curls. Met up with my friends for dinner and they were all praising my new bed of hair! All in all, it was a wonderful treat for my hair!

Easy and simple to grasp with the hand, the personal massager has three modes where you can choose which mode is most suitable for you. The material used is very felt-like and soft to the touch.

Was given the opportunity to try out LUSH Fresh Face Masks thanks to Phoebe from Lush! Have always wanted to try out the masks due to the fresh and handmade concept!

Their Fresh Face Masks are handmade with the finest essential oils, fresh fruits and veggies, deep cleansing clays and nutrient rich herbs. We use active ingredients to address a host of skin needs, from dryness to breakouts to fine lines, and everything in between! When we use the term “active ingredient”, this refers to an ingredient that is biologically active. We use freshly squeezed juices, extracts, or whole fruits and vegetables in our face masks, so they need to be refrigerated at all times to prevent spoilage. Masks can only be kept for a month max. Masks are also available for online delivery.

The masks I tried were the OatFix, CupCake and Love Lettuce.

Had the privilege to attend Stenders Singapore launch a few weeks ago with some of my blogger friends. It was a wonderful experience definitely chatting with my friends as well as exploring the stores’ wide range of products. Mostly handmade, I especially liked the hand crafted soaps and Wild Rose range. The handcrafted beautiful pieces of soap were the very first products created by Stenders. My favourite has to be the Honey Milk soap. Similar to Lush, they also stock up on Hand crafted bath bubble balls that are not only fragrant but creates different moment of sensations as it joyfully fizzes in water.

With a wide range of products in stores. I am surprised they even have a men range! All the range of products you can imagine, you will be able to find them in Stenders. They even stock up on scented and massage candles!

WILD ROSE RANGE

Received both the Hydrating Facial Gel and Moisturising Toner from the launch.

To moisturise and protect, use Hydrating Facial Gel for the face after cleansing. Texture is light and similar to water. Not to mention, it smells good as well due to its Wild Rose properties!

After cleansing the face however, it is important to use the Moisturising Toner to wipe off excess makeup as well as provide another layer of protection to the skin. The toner is also non sticky and smells as good!

The entire range smells good and also deeply moisturises and hydrates the skin.
