I could just say that work has taken the blogger outta me but that would be somewhat a lie. I guess, life itself has taken the blogger outta me. I just can’t find the time to sit down and write a proper entry from my heart (or brain for that matter). I’ve so many entries pending that I just don’t know where to begin…
Receiving a Facebook message from a recent acquintance, I suddenly recalled an entry that I should have done probably three weeks ago? I wrote about the day after the event, but I totally forgot about the day of the event itself (or rather, two nights).

Good friends come in small packages and Peggy (youthful, slim and sexy) happens to be one of the best (if you forsake certain flaws here and there, but who doesn’t eh)!

Despite the strain in our friendship, due to work and distance (she stays in the far east side of singapore and I stay in the west), she never fails to come up with the best getaways to spend a little us time together with a lot of party time between it. Come to think of it, most of my girlfriends are that thoughtful. I’m very blessed.
I can’t remember how it all fell together but there was a mention of Hennessy, the word party and then Kuala Lumpur. Summarising it for those that can’t catch what I’m saying; Peggy invited me together to spend three days and two nights (3D2N) with her at Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia, all expenses paid! What’s the catch? (You’re gonna love this…) I have to go for the party, the Hennessy Artistry!
This is perhaps the BEST catch EVER! All expenses paid trip to party with Hennessy! Did I mention the free flow of brandy? Fyi, I’m a brandy-gal, second to desert wine of course.
Peggy is a genius, a hardworking one if I may add. We were suppose to take budget airlines but she managed to get us on SilkAir while helping the sponsors save cost. I love the alliance (until the unfortunately and miserable delay during my Medan trip that is).
I’m a late-packer. If not mistaken, it was the day before that we actually met up to do some last minute shopping at City Plaza. It was only the morning of the trip itself that I started packing. And all hell broke lose. I was throwing stuff all around and into my luggage bag. It wasn’t a pretty sight. Fortunately, it was already hell in my room anyway.
The flight was pleasant. The best so far in fact. Smooth journey and good company, there is nothing more a girl could ask for.
Peggy is a wonderful travelling companion, for me at least. Trips like this, I just wanna lay back and relax. She basically planned and directed me step by step, which was perfect. I may be five years her senior but she took care of me like as though I was a child.

I felt protected, it was great except for some minor details on the side.
Okay, enough chit chat, now “show me the…” photos!
Day 1

Day 2

Day 3
(And “The day after Hennessy Artistry…“)

I xoxo Hennessy!
I xoxo Peggy!
And I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hennessy and John Langan for the invitation!
PS: Due to technical difficult (my iPad doesn’t allow me to upload images) I’m not able to show case the wonderfully (this is a lie of course) PhotoShop-ed photos (apart from the ones I linked from Peggy’s post). Therefore, please refer to Peggy’s post (for even more gorgeously edited photos) and Hennessy Artistry Singapore Facebook Page’s Gallery! That said, when I strikeout this notice, the photos would have been uploaded and viewable by public! But that time is not now.
