Hello people! So we have come to the last part of my pre-trip Germany holiday..

So after the castle stay and hiking, we drove off to Dresden old town and had our lunch there. Unfortunately, I lost those photos. After which, was a 2 hours drive to Berlin! I checked in at Swissotel Berlin Kurfürstendamm, it is a 5 star hotel arranged by my company. They always give the best to their agents.

Rested for few hours and spent a night out at one of the famous and frequented sites in Berlin with “An Evening at Charlottenburg Palace” concert experience. I always love watching performance since young. I enjoyed my evening with the Berlin Residence Orchestra, performing selections from composers like Bach, Handel, Mozart and more.

Here is the program booklet & their finale

On the next day, we went to the most popular 6 hours tour to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. Exploring ‘Arbeit Macht Frei’ (means work sets you free) sign and Jewish Barracks, and much more. Best of all, our trip was lead by the only non-profit tour company operating on the site, ensuring 100% of the proceeds go to the memorial and good causes.

Here is the gate before entering into the camp

This picture shows the place where the bodies of the dead prisoners were cremated and the ashes will be thrown just outside this burning ground

It was saddening to know how all these Jewish people were treated inside this camp. We could never ever able to imagine those torture that they went through.

Lastly, I would ended my Berlin trip with a celebration organise by AIA. Everything was so good from the location to the food and to the performances. It was indeed a fruitful and worthwhile trip!

Thanks for reading! Have an happy week ahead!
