Saturday Brunch @ d’Good Cafe

Holla! It’s a good Saturday, well spent with my beloved Mummy and Sis. Even though I should be studying for my final papers next Tuesday and Wednesday, I still decided to head out for a good brunch (a very late one) and I am so satisfied, ready to finish off the last lap of exams!

So Mummy, Sis and I were randomly walking around Holland Village trying to look for a good place for brunch and we incidentally discovered d’Good Cafe. Thinking that it might be promising, we decided to go ahead with this cafe and we were pleasantly surprised by the decor of the cafe!

d’Good Cafe
273 Holland Avenue

Inside, there are 3 levels altogether, with indoor and outdoor seats and what I really like about this cafe is its really cute and cosy decorations! It gives me the kind of feeling that I am in an overseas cafe! So this is what the coffee bar looks like:

Urban Decay: Fun Palette Review & Swatches

Today I’m going to review another of the Urban Decay Holiday 2012 Collection palettes – The Fun Palette! (Click here for the review on the Feminine Palette). As the name suggests, this palette consists of really fun and vibrant colours for all you makeup junkies to play with! This is the perfect palette if you want to add some bright colours apart from the neutrals you wear every day and I love this palette as well for the purple and blue shadows.

The palette comes in a wallet-sized packaging that comes in really handy when you want to just pop into your bag. It is clothed in a ultra shimmery turqoise patent casing with gold zippers and just like the Feminine Palette, you can detach the palette from its casing to use the casing as a mini wallet/clutch.

Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner: Review and Swatches

How’s your week going?
Today I’m going to do a review on my current favourite eyeliner – the Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black. This was highly raved some time ago and I finally decided to get it about a few months ago. I have been using this almost everyday to tightline or to line my eyes and I must say this is really good stuff! So this little cute eyeliner comes in a kawaii packaging with a big black bow on top.

It says, “Get Tsubasa’s Dolly Eyes!” At the back of the packaging there are printed instructions on the product information and little tips from Tsubasa Masuwaka on how to line your eyes.

I am so excited to have won the Sephora SG Instagram giveaway and I was deemed “Oz-worthy” to receive a Urban Decay Hamper worth S$100++! I completely went hysterical when I saw my name on the winners Facebook post on Sephora Singapore!

The contest rules were as follows:

Urban Decay: Feminine Palette Review & Swatches

All the school work has been taking a toll on the amount of free time I have. Now my make-up blog is being abandoned because of the endless number of project meetings and late night studying in school. I finally managed to squeeze out some time after approximately 2 months to do a short review on the Urban Decay Fun, Feminine and Dangerous Palettes for their 2012 Holiday collection.

Today’s review is going to be… The Feminine Palette, my favourite of the three! (: I simply love the purple-pink casing with the black laced details (there is some layering going on between the purple base and the lace and it’s so cool! It’s just too bad the camera can’t seem to capture that 3D effect. and what’s interesting about these palettes are that they double up as a mini wallet/clutch except that you can’t really place your phones or bank cards inside due to the magnetic strip inside. So this is how the palette looks like:
