Dressing stylishly for Winter & Style Challenge in Seoul: Fashion

It’s always a dilemma when it comes to the question of, “What do I wear today?” This is especially so when you’re travelling, isn’t it? I often find myself not being able to pack light because I want to bring the entire season’s fashion trend with me in my luggage so that I can have choices. The matter of fact is that you only have got 23-30kg to fly with you even after your crazy shopping so you cannot be over-packing!

My recent Seoul trip taught me never to try bringing my entire wardrobe again because ultimately, I was re-wearing some of my comfy sweater pieces over my thermal wear. I ended up with a couple of clothes unworn so, here are some tips and OOTDs (Outfit Of The Day) from my Seoul searching trip earlier this month, just to give you an idea of what to dress for the winter season. I’ll be ending the post with a Style Challenge video too!

Seoul searching in fabulous Seoul, South Korea: Beauty, Food & Fashion

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!~

I just came back from Seoul, Korea, recently and I’m still wishing I was back in the cold, with occasional snow while walking down the shopping streets of Garosu-gil, Hongdae and Myeongdong.

It’s 25 years into my life and it was my virgin visit to the popular travel destination, South Korea, to attend a K-Beauty conference – Made in Korea (MIK) 2017 – courtesy of MyFatPocket. It was my first time travelling with MFP’s Editor, Xinyi (@xinyicyndisoh) too. This short trip was a rather fruitful one as I got acquainted with many K-Beauty brands that are looking to expand to our tiny little red dot, ate many local dishes and bought even more makeup!

Before all the beauty reviews continue to populate Paradeoflove, I just want to pen down some of the interesting things I encountered in this metropolitan city, including beauty recommendations, food I’ve tried and some of the Instagram-worthy spots for your OOTDs in your next trip.

Travelling in Summer… Or Maybe Not?

Summer vacation is a time when memories are made. It’s the most exhilarating season, as destinations gleam in the sunlight, inviting you to leave a footprint. It’s no doubt that the sun is great, but living in Singapore where we get the scorching sun all year round, I’m thinking twice about going on a summer holiday to be exposed to more sun and heat. I know we’re transiting into Fall now but well, the wanderlust in me is acting up, so I just wanted to share my thoughts about Summer Travels.

Honestly, I’d rather travel to cooler destinations such as Australia because this continent’s summertime is not in sync with the others. Where it’s summer mostly in the States, or the European cities, it’s usually Autumn/Winter in the months of May to August, which means cold weather! I mean, why spend a bomb to experience summer when you get it all year round?

#SelfieisCasio! A glimpse of Malacca with Casio Exilim ZR3500: Review

In the age of social media ubiquity, many companies are introducing technology gadgets to feed the selfie addiction. I am not quite a “selfie” person except when I take photos for makeup tutorials but boy, was I impressed by Casio’s latest selfie camera, Casio Exilim EX-ZR3500!
Thanks to Casio Singapore for the opportunity, I managed to experience the camera’s functions through combing the streets of Malacca with other fellow bloggers! It was a whopping great time with food, laughter and SHOPPING! (WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY POST!)
For the purpose of letting you visually experience the camera, all photos here have been taken with the Casio Exilim EX-ZR3500 and are non-edited in terms of colour/sharpness etc., unless otherwise stated! The camera comes in 4 colours, Beige (more like champagne gold), Yellow, Pink and White, obviously targeting the girls 😉 For inherent reasons, I chose the pink one for the trip, but swapped with a fellow blogger to the yellow one after that!
