NAPAPIJRI’s Opening in Singapore

Not just in Singapore, but it is the first NAPAPIJRI boutique in Southeast Asia! I googled for the brand before heading down for the opening and I found myself eyeing some of the shirts already.

NAPAPIJRI, reads as Na-Pa-Pi-Ri, is an international fashion retailer with Italian origins. They started out with manufacturing travel bags to outdoor apparels which has quality and style. Their GEOGRAPHIC apparel line will be introduced to Singapore. You can find them in Singapore’s newest luxury mall, Capitol Plazza #01-26 (nearest MRT: City Hall).

Sebastian Copeland was also present for the ceremony and he has worked with NAPAPIJRI for the longest time. His works were also displayed that afternoon.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, a very hip and stylish fashion showcase was presented. The jackets on the ladies really make me feel like owning one too.

The concept of the store is “a refuge where customers feel at home” so the store has an open concept and is designed to reflect an inviting yet intimate atmosphere. Even the staffs were all very friendly. James wanted to get a shirt and the staff gave him very good recommendations and help. ย The thing is, this fussy guy finally got himself a new shirt! One of the first few who bought from the boutique in Singapore ๐Ÿ™‚

Other than travelers, I thought they looked like some clothes for the detectives. I never thought I wouldย fit in styles like this but when I tried the jackets on, my, I really really like them!

The GEOGRAPHIC clothing rang is suitable outdoors or urban lifestyles because they take pride in the lightness and creativity concepts for the range’s informal look.

I love how neat the clothes are presented. It makes shopping easier for the customers too.

I went from the female section to the male and back to the female again. This shirt caught my attention the most. I love the sea blue color and how simple the logo looks. I posted a similar photo of the shirt in my Instagram (@maybelinesim) too.

Other medias were also happily shopping away.

Some lucky guy won their travel bag!

โ€œWith Singapore’s position asadynamic fashion hub, whereshoppers are constantly seeking new brands and fresh shopping experiences, we believe that it is timely to introduce NAPAPIJRI toSingaporeso asto address theinsatiablesartorial needs of today’s shoppers. This venture also marks a new and important chapter for NAPAPIJRI as we hope to expand our business operations intothe Southeast Asiamarkets,” shares Mr. John Gearing, Vice President/Managing Director, Asia-Pacific of VF Brands Pte Ltd.

Do check them out for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection as well. Expect to see more colors in the upcoming collect where the Men’s wear draws inspiration from the concept of “Out On The Open Road” and the Women’s wear narrates a mixture of stories and inspirations which results in an accomplished, multifunctional wardrobe that is rich in colors and alluring patterns.

Find them at 13 Stamford Road #01-26 Singapore 178905. They are open from 10.30am to 9.30pm daily ๐Ÿ™‚

Valentine’s Photoshoot with J

Because of blogging, I was given more opportunities and ways to spend my pre-Valentine’s with James.

We did a couple shoot with Lee Cooper apparels. They apparels are really comfy and stylish. I was quite amazed by how stretchable the jeans were. We could even roller blade and stretch in it! Airy and lightweight – What a bonus!

The pictures you see here are the more serious ones.

We had more pictures of us laughing like mad (the smiles were so huge that my mouth looked really big LOLOL), fooling around and all. The photos looked really natural. Love howย Chee BP Photographyย managed to capture all the silly moments we had.

Lovely couple (HAHA), comfy apparels (Lee Cooper), talented photographer and the cute Phoebe made all these come true!

Fine stitches, quality clothes at good prices. We got ours at Orchard Gateway Shopping Centre #02-17A ๐Ÿ™‚

I love this pair of mint green shoes so much that I got another color in coral.

I remember whining about not being different like coral on the left and mint on the right few months ago. Lol!

Still loving this denim jacket which is now finally mine ๐Ÿ™‚

To everyone who made it possible, thank you. Valentine’s Day 2015, I love you!!

Dress comfortably, yet in style

On days when we want to dress down because we want to be comfortable, it doesn’t mean that we have to dress casually. You can still add a tinge of style in your casual dressing.

It’s Friday and all we want is to be comfortable.

On me:
– Long sleeves checkered shirt with sleeves rolled up
– Ripped boyfriend jeans (which is the IN thing nowadays) Go baggy, not skinny.
– Supra sneakers
– Fossil male watch

On him:

– Hater cap with gold plated words
– Long sleeves knitted pullover (I got him this when I was in Korea!!)
– Black Jeans
– Adidas sneakers (which I call the Power Ranger Shoes LOL)
– Panerai 112

When I was away in Taiwan, James attended some of my events for me. One of it is celio*. He grew to love the brand after attending the event. We would enter the shop to look for new clothes whenever we pass by one.

celio* is a leading menswear and it is marking its fifth anniversary this year. celio* continues to re-invent itself with its latest revamp of its flagship boutique in Bugis+.

The open concept allows customers to easily view the entire collection from the entrance by one glance. We all like to shop in an open and free space don’t we? celio* has this concept too! I hate cramped shops with limited space for movement. Other than the interior of the shop, the clothes they sell are quite chic and fits the latest moods and fashion themes of the season.

I call this the one-stop paradise for man because not only do they have tops and bottoms, they have shoes, bags and accessories for men as well! Unlike other fashion brands, cello* clothes are made of good quality and reasonably priced!

For now, cello* goes back to the fundamentals for it’s Autumn/Winter Collect 2014. The collection is stylish and warm looking. It fit seamlessly into the modern man’s wardrobe. cello* ‘s stylish down jackets and knitwear comes in a plethora of premium materials to offer comfort and casual chic flair. As you can see, it comes in a lot of different colours too. So pick one that suits your mood most!

I personally like their t-shirts a lot as well. T-shirts are the basics that everyone in Singapore should have or like, so good and chic designs are pretty essentials. celio* has them all!

I was browsing through the pictures and James looked like a happy kid shopping inside! He whatsapp-ed me when I was happily shopping in Taiwan to help him pick some clothes but on second thoughts, he decided to wait for me to be back and pick the clothes for them. Happy little boy spotted at cello*!

When I was back, my happy boyfriend bought a shirt and a pair of jeans there!

I saw the Super Mario Tees and find them extremely cute!!! I wanted one but even their S size was too big for me ๐Ÿ™

Some of the AW’14 can be seen on the models in the picture below:

celio* made them cooler don’t they? Have your impression of cello* changed? Because for me, it certainly has!!

And on my birthday, William bought us the Mario tees cause we couldn’t resist the cuteness!!!!! For me, fashion has no gender limits. Wear whatever you like ๐Ÿ™‚

You can find at celio*:
– Bugis+ #01-05, CityLink Mall #B1-47
– Jem #02-10, Plaza Singapura #03-41
– Suntec City #01-327

Juicy Couture Hollywood Ingenue

Sometime ago, J and I witnessed Juicy Couture Fall and Holiday 2014 Collection.

Both collections were very related to Hollywood.

Thats us at the entrance.

The first thing that caught me when I stepped into the showroom was the latest perfume – VIVA LA JUICY Gold Couture. It is already available in US at prestige retailers in July 2014, but will only be available in Singapore from Sept 2014 onwards.

Ever since the launch of of VIVA LA JUICY 4 years ago, it has even rise to many other sister scent with this being the newest addition to the family. VIVA LA JUICY Gold Couture gives the girl who lusts for luxury the couture indulgence she craves.

Even the packaging is in gold colour itself.

Other than perfumes and clothes, Juicy Couture also carry accessories like bracelets, bangles and watches!

Fall 2014 Collection features clothes where the Juicy girl returns home from her summer travels to embrace the new season with a sense of intrigue and adventure, hence, the collection features the rebellious punk rock days of the Viper Room to the fresh natural beauty of the hills and the irresistible glamour o celebrity style.

Holiday 2014 Collection on the other hand, celebrates the sun-drenched holidays in true Juicy style where the girl transits her wardrobe from the romantic tones of fall to a hyper-luxe and edgy feel for the holiday season with Couture Clash.

A lot of pieces from the Fall and Holiday 2014 Collection caught my eyes but there is one particular set which I prefer most! Read on first….

The models really carried out the feel of the Juicy girl. Every piece of clothing or accessory were carried out well.

The sunken cheeks and jawlines…. to die for!!

This bag caught my attention too! Small enough to carry out for lighter days yet retaining that little tinge of classiness. Available in different colours as well.

Now… What caught me most was the sports attire!!!!

If I have this suit, I’ll gladly work out every night to show them off!!!!!

Tell me, is it CUTE or CUTE?!?!

We were almost blinded by the huge collections.

Thank you Bless and Juicy Couture for the generosity. We had a good time viewing the clothes (as well as trying our luck at the lucky draw booth).

I can’t wait for the next collection already. X

Rocco is back!

Have you heard about it yet?

Rocco had been away for years…… but now….

Who is Rocco? Read on.

Rocco, is your next IN thing for eyewear.

You know me. I am a sucker for eyewear.

I owe about 6 pairs of prescription glasses of my current eye power.

I like the mix and match them to my outfit.

However, majority of my prescription glasses are in black or white. I have a current pair in Orange now though. Used to wear pink but that was only when I was still in my teens LOL.

However, I am quite bold when it comes to sunglasses. I dare to wear all sort of colours and designs so I have seriously more than a hundred pairs? Of course, most of them are cheap fashion shades.

Rocco however, brought fashion to another level.

Fashion + Quality = Rocco

My pick from Rocco is this vintage looking pair.

Well, I love all things geeky or vintage.

I would go for style than the classic look when it comes to eyewear.

I can’t wait to create different looks and styles with this pair of glasses!

Rocco will be available on Eye Trendy soon! And they are already available at some stores. A campaign is coming up soon… Follow me and Eye Trendy Facebook page as well.

Lastest addiction – Pandora

I never thought I would get hooked onto Pandora bracelet and charms because I find them EXPENSIVE! I had always thought I wouldn’t spend a mid 3-digit figure to 4 digit figure on an accessory like necklace or bracelets but Pandora caught me!

I kept complaining on the prices and why would girls spend so much on them until my friend Sophia of Beau Essentials tempted me with them.

She helped me with my bracelet and my first two charms.

I got the 17cm bracelet which was way too big for me. But the sales person told me that it is always better to get a slighter bigger bracelet so that it wouldn’t be tight when you have more charms.

Bracelet – $124
Pandora Charm – $53
Fairytale Book – $71

It was so sad because the price of the Fairytale Book raised. It was initially $53 just few weeks back! Take note: Some of the charms like bow charm which was initially $53 is now $88.

I thought it was pretty plain with just two charms so I got more charms 2 days later. YES, this is extremely crazy! But well, bonus is hereeeee. It’s March! Heh.

Each charm actually serves a different meaning. Some of them have very meaningful meanings. For example, the cruise. My dad’s favorite memory of my sister was the both of the cheering and hugging when we were on the cruise years back (I miss you, Adel).

And 2 days later, another new addition! The Eiffel Tower! My favorite landmark in the entire world has got to be this tower, so how can I not own one?

The charms kept me smiling for days.

Whatever that made me smile is worth every penny spent ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, I have officially fallen into the irresistible trap of Pandora’s.

Bally Eyewear at Eye Trendy

So you have already heard of Bally Eyewear. Nvm if you haven’t cause you can still update yourself about this luxury Switzerland brand here.

And as mentioned in the entry above, I have this thing for men’s design. Being the blogger ambassador for Eye Trendy, I was given a few pairs of Eyewear and my first pick was none other than the classic aviator design which features a bridge nose piece and temples lined in leather.

Model Number: BY4002A

Colour: Chocolate.

It is also available in Black Polarized and Cacao as well.

B Block metal (design) can be found on both end pieces as well as on the left temple tip as a signature detail.

I like the pilot shaped lenses because it is big enough to hide my face when I am not in makeup :X

But the actual reason for me picking this design is the unique leather covering because you don’t really see it in other eyewear. Yes, there are a lot of aviators in the market, but what the leather made the whole design stands out more.

Eyewear makes one look cooler instantly but why pick Bally?

It is a luxury collection using only premium material like titanium, carbon, leather and etc and is a modern collection with contemporary style. The eyewear are Made in France and they have a whole collection of Asian Fit!

Look at how classy it still look even when I was dressed in casual.

This pair of eyewear includes a Crest Case, Crest Pouch, Crest Box and a Bally leaflet ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Bally, Sin Kwang Optical and Eye Trendy!

Feel free to browse the other available designs and brands at Eye Trendy page.

See you there!!

A change of style

Some people feel that I look too soft, feminine or wear clothes that make me look old so I have decided to dress younger and feel fresher by change my style a little! I don’t often follow the trend but mmmm.. Why not now?

Same place, different day.

From the usual me to…..

Center parting and sporty looking!

Tadahhhhh! Added 2 new pairs of sneakers to my shoe collection.

Had a hard time looking for wedge sneakers because it is out of stock EVERYWHERE. Wanted the Adidas one but settled for the Nike one instead because it is out of stock everywhere :((((

And everyone’s hot favourite – New Balance!

So how? Do I look more bubbly and young now? ๐Ÿ˜€
