Things to do on a Cruise Ship

New Year is coming! I am sure many of you have some sort of count down parties or gathering or other exciting plans to attend. Felt a bit sadden when I see friends on FB bragging about so many Christmas parties and new year parties lined up. I do not have any plans until like a few weeks ago. Sometimes I felt a little sad that I do not have a close group click of bff girlfriends that I can always hang out with. Blame it on myself for living overseas for almost 6 years. It’s hard to maintain super close friendships and keep the click going if I can only come back once a year. ūüôĀ But I do really appreciate the good friends that I managed to still be rather close with until now. Though I don’t see them very often but we are good when we all get together. Made me appreciate them so much more because for the past 6 years, they bother to keep in touch with me.

Anyway I decide to spend my new year eve and weekend on a cruise ship with my mum and beloved hubby. They are the 2 most important person in my life so I really wanna take this time to end 2011 and begin the new year with them, thanking them for all the things they have done for me and supportive of me always.

I haven’t been on a cruise since I was 12 yrs old. *brain rusty & don’t remember much* Again like my habit before doing anything. I always research what to expect… here to share my research

1.¬†¬†¬†Eat good food!¬†¬†and then eat some more! (Heard that people eat 8 meals a day on a cruise, I’m gonna be so fat when I return)

2.   Read a book from the library. (I prefer magazines than books)

3.   Workout in the exercise room. (Good and I need to do it if I am eating 8 meals a day)

4.   Lay out by the pool and get a tan. (sounds good, love swimming)

5.   Go sightseeing on an island. (my chance to stop feeling the ship shaking on sea)

6.¬†¬†¬†Play a game of jackpot bingo. (Definitely remember I did that when they haven’t banned jackpots to kids when I was 12)

7.¬†¬†¬†Do a little gambling in the Casino. (Ok, I’ll play a little)

8.¬†¬†¬†Watch the sunrise and the sunset. (I’m really not a morning person but I’ll try get up)

9.¬†¬†¬†Get a relaxing massage. (Got to check out if it’s cost is reasonable or I’ll force my hubby to massage me. Haaha!)

10. Go shopping in the shops on board or in the port. (Shopping is a must in my iternary)

11. Be entertained with Las Vegas style entertainment. (Cool! Better have some good looking men performing)

12. Go snorkeling or scuba diving. (Not sure if this cruise I go on will have this activity)

13. Rent a charter and go fishing. (Not sure if this cruise I go on will have this activity)

14. Have fun singing Karaoke. (lalalallalalalalalala. *Cough*)

15. Be in a talent show and entertain others. (stage fright but I like to frighten myself, maybe try)

16. Take a nap, roll over and sleep some more. (piggy and yes i love to sleep)

17. Take a tour of the kitchen known as the galley. (Not sure what is this about…)

18. Take a tour of the control center known as the bridge. (Am I allowed to?)

19. Watch a good movie. (Love a good movie or two)

20. Get close and rekindle a fire with your loved one. (woooooooooooo…no comments)

Have a wonderful time what ever you will be doing for new year and wish you all a Happy New Year and a very very very awesome 2012 ahead. xoxoxoxoxo ūüôā
