Physiogel Calming Relief Face Care Range Regional Event at Bangkok

Physiogel Calming Relief Face Care Range Regional Event at Bangkok

Physiogel brand has been trusted by many, especially those with sensitive skin would swear by it. Developed by GSK one of the biggest pharmacutical company in the world. Site AC Neilson study conducted in collaboration with GSK AC Nielsen Overview of Skin Health Category: Topline Incidence Report in APAC 2014, conducted with close to 8,000 women across nine Asia Pacific markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong – One in two asian women actually have sensitive skin but of course many might not even know it. I have been invited by GSK to attend their regional product launch of their Physiogel Calming Relief Face Care Range held at St.Regis Hotel Bangkok. Throughout the trip other than trying out their product everyday and feeling how it works on my skin with my 14 journey which I will blog about it later on, I have learnt so much about skin sensitivity and about how Physiogel BioMimic Technology™ unique only to GSK soothe and relieve irritated skin and improves the skin’s hydration by mimicking the lipids in the skin’s moisture barrier.

Physiogel Calming Relief Face Care Range Regional Event

This was like a big get together event for their team for Thailand, Malaysia, Philipines and Singapore. Other than media people, there were many other bloggers invited from Thailand, Malaysia, Philipines and Singapore too. I was blessed to be chosen to represent Singapore bloggers to cover this event together with one of Singapore top influencer Melissa Celestine Koh. All the GSK staffs and PR agency people were super duper friendly too. We were put at the luxurious Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel(totally don’t feel like returning home with a room like this).

Upon arrival, our stomachs are already in treat to be filled at the Spice Market Restaurant with all the GSK team, PR, media people and the bloggers. Delicious Thai food accompanied by good company.

Above with me is Crystal the brand manager from GSK who is my buddy for this trip, we flew together and I had a really good time hanging out with her during our free & easy time making my trip an even more enjoyable one.

At that point, I was already anticipating for the physiogel event the following day.

There was a lunch session at St. Regis Hotel before the start of the event. Melissa Koh arrived then and I was very pleased to finally meet this super sweet girl.

The event from the entrance outside to inside was beautifully decorated with their products, banners and photo taking area.

You would have guessed purple and white is Physiogel’s colour theme right? Orchids are my favourite flowers. I was mesmerised by so many purple orchids. Coincidently, I happened to be wearing a white and purple dress for the event too. Super matching! LOL 🙂

As I sat there watching the Physiogel launch video, it was nothing I expected less from a top notch company like GSK.

There was an ribbon rhythmic gymnastics performance too.

The inner circle talk show covers many skin sensitive issues faced by women and Melissa shared her personal experience as one troubled with dry skin which had her condition greatly improved with Physiogel during her stay in New York over the fashion week with the cold winter there.

After the talk session and flowers presentation to the guests, there was a calming facial regime session on how to use and apply the products step by step to help calm the skin by Beauty Consultant Carol Lin. You can convienently use the Physiogel cleanser without water, simply massage it all over your face and neck then clean it away with tissue. This is great because in many countries where water is not clean and well treated, water can be a source of irritant to the skin too. So a cleanser without the need to use water is probably better.

Last programme for the event is a Physiogel® Calming Relief Facial and Makeover session.

Which women doesn’t love a makeover session? The makeup stations all look super professional and the makeup artists are so pro!!! Making everyone even better looking at the event like beauties overload. 🙂

Didn’t expect the food and canapés to be so amazing as well. The whole event was just really well planned from the beginning to the end and well thought of in all the details. I would have to say it is one of the more enjoyable events I have been to.
