Natural Nano Eyebrow Embroidery Singapore Review Beauty Recipe

So… I just did eyebrow embroidery!
For those of you that don’t know, #eyebrowembroidery is a semi permanent brow tattoo which lasts for around 1-2 years.
Btw this is not a sponsored post, I am just posting this to share my good experience.
Also, these photos are unfiltered, from top down: my natural brows, immediately after brow embroidery, and 10 days after eyebrow embroidery.
I did my brows at Beauty Recipe, a salon in Jurong East, about 10 min walk from the mrt. They also have outlets at Marine Parade and Orchardgateway(Somerset MRT Exit C) too. Beauty Recipe Aesthetics is also a International Beauty Training Academy with so many good reviews on their Facebook page with insanely high 4.8 stars rating so I felt really confident to have them do my brows.
The beautician was very patient, she shaped and reshaped my brows a few times with a brow pencil to get the exact shape that I wanted. She recommended the dark brown color to suit my hair color. She also has brown and light brown which I would like to try when I dye my hair light.
Beauty Recipe Aesthetics uses their own formulated organic colors that does not contains any harmful chemicals like formaldehyde and heavy metals that is generally found in tattoo coloring. So it’s very safe and our coloring will not change color to green/blue/red overtime so you can change a new shape next time round. Generally their colors can last 1.5-3 years depending on the technique of eyebrow you chose.
The therapist recommend that I go for the straight and thick Korean Brow because it gives a more youthful and approachable look. You should see my brows when they were thin and arched! Thank Goodness, I’ll never return to that.
Waiting 20 mins for the numbing cream to take effect. While waiting, I bombarded the beautician with a whole heap of questions and she was so patient in explaining everything to me. 🙂
And done! Each Brow took about 20-25 minutes. All in it took about 2hrs. No machine was used! The beautician did my brows by scraping the dark brown color into my skin with a thin metal scraper skillfully. There might be some bleeding because it it scraping into your skin, and it was a little painful towards the end but thank goodness there was the numbing cream which made the pain so minimal. Not much swelling or redness from what you can see right?
At the end, the beautician applied a balm on my brow to protect it from infection, which I am supposed to apply 3 times a day for about a week. Paid an additional $28 for this balm(this is optional though).
Close up of right eyebrow. If you look closely, you can see the nano strokes at the top end of the Brow. The strokes really look like hairs! Really amazed with this. Nano embroidery is the latest technology, it’s newer than 3d embroidery which does not have the hair like strokes.
Left Brow. Nano strokes are so natural! Still a bit red and my handphone camera is not that excellent to capture.
For the first couple of days, my brows were little red-ish because my brow skin is sensitive. But recovery is considered fast for just few days.
The bf saw me on day 1 and was like “it’s not permanent right?” haha that’s how dramatic it was on the first day when it was first done. This is to ensure that the colour will lasts for longer but I was told it will fade quickly in the first week. But I tried to scare him and say yes you’ll be stuck with me looking like this for 2 years :p
Day 3. Still looking a little like la pi xiao xin, but it’s the weekend so I have to go out! Tried desperately to use my fringe to cover at least the ends of my brows, and applied red lippie to draw the attention away from the brows. Yeah right nice try.
I suggest scheduling the Brow embroidery such that you will not have any important events to attend for the first 7 days.
Day 5. I forgot to apply the balm and my brows got itchy and flaky. So a little of the inner Brow flaked off. Zzzzz very important to apply the balm religiously!
Anyway the rest of the brow skin did slowly flake off over the next 2 days.
Day 7! Brows are fully recovered! No more la pi xiao xin 🙂
Absolutely love my brows! I no longer need to spend 10 minutes in the morning to draw my brows in. And no more sparse brows when I remove my makeup.
The package comes with a complimentary touch up within 3 months and the beautician recommended re-doing brow embroidery after a year, however it is up to your personal preference and also how quick the color fades off.
Also, the beautician is very experienced and meticulous, going over and checking my brows a few times from all angles.

$288 for 3d embroidery – 2 sessions (Usual Price $488)
$488 for nano embroidery – 2 sessions (the one I did) (Usual Price $888)
I a lot of research prior to deciding on this one and other Beauty parlors are charging around $800-$1000++ for eyebrow embroidery and these aren’t even nano. They call it 6D Nano because 0.18 cm is the thickness of the blade which they use to make the super thin natural hair like strokes. I heard browhaus charges $1200++ for nano embroidery.
Beauty Recipe is a total steal!
