My Halloween Costumes and Halloween Decorations 2015
Guess who me and hubby dressed up as this Halloween? Sean decided to be Beetle Juice and I decide to be Frozen Princess Elsa. It was funny because my father in law’s response to my character for Halloween to my husband was…. ”oh, so you finally decide to change to a blonde wife”. Well, my father in law is famous for his ‘cold jokes’.
Anyway I had so much fun this year doing the makeup for hubby and myself. Decorating the house to be horrifying and scary for the kids coming for treat or trick was also fun as well since we decide to see if we are able to scare the kids. Some were a bit frighten to enter but mostly are brave souls of our young Singaporeans kids when they saw the sweets and treats we are giving out to them. LOL 🙂
I love this photo particularly as we manage to find a mini version of Beetle juice at the clubhouse halloween party. Big beetle juice and the small beetle juice!
Did you think I manage to find a mini version of Elsa as well? YES I DID! 🙂 🙂 Hahaa. There are times like this when I really wishes I had a daughter too. Can both dress up as princesses during Halloween. Heheeeee. Nevermind lar. Don’t have then just borrow other people’s daughter for now.
Many of our neighbours decorated their home for Halloween. Very sporting community we are living in! It’s really great. This is one of my favourite above. Excellent works with the Spider/cob webs right?
Below is our attempt of the spider cob webs on our patio.
The disgusting heads cost about $15 each and brilliant Sean made the corpse with like things he could find around the house like clothes drying poles, rugby balls, clothes…etc. Looks that it was in pretty good shape and realistic in my patio. He also made a lot of fake blood to pour it all over … The insects all over the place kind of give me the chills too. Especially the cockroaches. I am really not a fan of those! Hoping no kids will wet themselves that night.
Look at their happy faces below. They were split into 7 groups and almost 80 over kids I think taking part in the Trick or Treat after the clubhouse party.
A lot of the neighbours come dressed up also. Not only the kids. It’s pretty cool with the halloween spirit.
Me and Sean get a lot of laughters when we entered the club house. Haha. So pai seh! But alright lar… The girls loved Elsa, wanted to but some shy to come take photo with me.
The children are all so super cute. I like all of the so much. I spent at least like 2 hours with them going around the compound to almost 20 households to get trick or treats. My son Jack is totally so tired that he could not walk towards the end anymore.
Jack’s little bag is full of sweets! Hahaa.. He wouldn’t let anyone carry it for him.
While Sean stayed at our house, turned on the blue bar light we had to create the eerie atmosphere and hiding in the kitchen to wait for the kids to ring on our door bell then jump out to scare them. HaHAhaa ROFL! 🙂 🙂 🙂
All the European sweets we got from cold storage were devoured by all the kids. Not even halfway through, all our sweets are almost gone. It’s even scarier when kids comes and grab the sweets. Sean was sad that the extras he bought for himself end up got to give it away too.
This is the first halloween we spent with the neighbours at our new place. It is really awesome and I am really looking forward to the next year’s halloween party.
Took me quite a lot of effort to dressed up as Elsa with the makeup, wig and all. Mainly wanted to make the children happy at the party in the condo lar… Since I was all dressed up, I am not going to waste it by ending the night too early. Went to Clarke Quay with some friends to continue the Halloween night and join in the fun with other people around also all dressed up on Halloween.
My friend’s costumes are awesome also isn’t it?
