Since the start of the year I have gotten a dozen of emails on my recommended blogshops for Vday and CNY outfits, so this is a quick post for everyone who is still fretting over your wardrobe choices for the upcoming festive.
Prices start from $49 and above for tops and around $79 for dresses. They have very pretty prints and designs this season! Note that retail prices are $10 cheaper than the online listing, so it makes more sense to walk into the retail store for purchases. Spend $200 to entitle for their lifetime membership, and members get a 15% discount. DM me via instagram (@jacelynphang) if you want to get my membership details for the 15% discount off your purchases.
(2) Love Bonito
Love Bonito is my forever favourite blogshop for its consistency sizing, good material and affordable prices. If you are getting a gift, Love Bonito also allows free exchange so I highly recommend this blogshop for gifts or if you are a first timer of online shopping. Cover photo is me in a Love Bonito dress too.
(3) Wild Peonies
I have not bought from this store before but they have a couple of pieces that caught my eye; I really like the Cassia Floral Wrap Romper in White.
Local brand, Jovet is one that I often frequent at their retail stores because of their service and quality of clothes. Their online shop doesn’t do justice to how beautiful their apparels are, you need to browse through their instagram or shop at their physical store to know what I mean.
Mikayla is pretty new in the market, but their self manufactured Ellie Mermaid Hem Dress looks so good on Mongchin, it caught my eye. For those whom likes fitted dresses, opt for this to show for your curves this CNY.
This season Fashmob has many pretty and inexpensive pieces worth checking out too.
(7) Thread Theory
Thread Theory remains one of the favourites for many of my friends but I am not a fan as I think the sizing of their apparels is not consistent. Do check the measurements of each piece of apparel before committing to buy.
(8) Her Velvet Vase
Their CNY collection is pretty limited but they are my usual go-to site for staple work pieces. Materials are usually very comfortable too.
Here’s the link to other blogshops that you can check out as well
(1) VGY Store (I frequent this blogshop, prices are slightly higher but their designs are more unique.)
(2) LBR Label
(3) The Closet Lover
There’s also The Tinsel Rack, Eternity Loft, Lace & Ebony and many more too. P.S. For UOB card holders, get 10% off at Ohvola (min $80 spent) [promo code: UOB10<first 6 digits of UOB cardnumber>], 10% off at Runway Bandit (min $70 spent) [promo code: UOBRWB<first 6 digits of UOB cardnumber>] and 15% off at The Closet Lover (min $60 spent) [promo code: UOBTCL.<first 6 digits of UOB cardnumber>].
Lastly, I don’t recommend LechicSG as I have bought once and the material is so bad. It’s see-through with very revealing bad cutting. LeChicSg is more for girls who want quantity instead of quantity. Their items are like clothes from Bugis Street.
Happy shopping all, I hope this helps.
With love, Jacelyn Phang
