Have you ever heard of Jingisukan? According to Wikipedia-Jingisukan (ジンギスカン, “Genghis Khan”) is a Japanese grilled mutton dish prepared on a convex metal skillet or other grill. The dish is particularly popular on the northern island of Hokkaido, in China and in Thailand. I visited The Hitsuji Club located at Circular Road few days back to try Jingisukan. [SG EATS] Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Singapore

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is a Japanese ramen restaurant renowned for its Hokkaido-style ramen and pork cheek. My sister and I visited one of their outlets in Central, Clark Quay over the weekend to check out their new ramen menu. Apparently Santouka is one of the best ramen in Tokyo and Singapore based on the google reviews. The founder, Hitoshi Hatanaka opened his own ramen shop at Hokkaido in 1988. The Japanese restaurant is a restaurant from Kanda, Tokyo and currently helmed by Japanese Chef Hara Shinji. The ingredients here are imported freshly every week from Japan. [SG EATS] Aburiya & The Container At Boay Quay – Affordable Wagyu Deal In Town

Aburiya & The Container Bar is a newly-opened restaurant and bar located at Boat Quay. The Container offers tapas and alcoholic drinks while Aburiya offers Japanese casual dining experience. So, why is it called The Container? The name comes from the shipping container Izakayas that Wagyu farmers in Hokkaido gathered regularly to chit chat over small Wagyu dishes and alcohol. Customers/ Diners can always have a drink at The Container alfresco concept before heading into Aburiya restaurant for a good meal. Tamoya Udon located at Liang Court Mall offers different types of udon dishes. The brand has 31 outlets across Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. This is my first time visiting the outlet even though I passed by whenever I am at Liang Court. Tamoya Udon was first established in 1996 by Chef Tamotsu Kurokawa, who was crowned the sanuki udon champion when he entered TV Champion, a reality cooking show in Japan.
