I finally got the chance to try Bedrock Bar & Grill last weekend.Eric and I were rushing down before the last order at 2.30pm. The restaurant is located next to 313 Somerset and to be exact, next to Marche with a door away.
Before I start off my sharing on the new launch product from KFC, here is the introduction of the company itself:-

August has been a fabulous month with the celebration of SG50, Golden Jubilee of Singapore and also my birthday month. I had a foodolicious over the jubilee weekend. One of the highlight is the food tasting session with foodies at Ellenborough Market Café, Swissotel Merchant Court. It was my second visit and you can read about my first visit here as a pay customer last year. Continue reading [SG EATS] “Heritage Flavours” – ELLENBOROUGH MARKET CAFE | SWISSOTEL MERCHANT COURT
I was invited for food tasting session at SELA Restaurant few weeks back. It is located approximately 10 minutes walk from City Hall & Bugis MRT station. SELA is a restaurant offering modern European items with mixture of modern Asian creations for the newly revamp menu by Chef Benson.
I traveled to Yangon, Myanmar with a Korean friend on July this year. We were so easy-going that we just booked the air ticket and flew there with no plans. Somehow rather travel with plans can be challenging and scary but it is pretty awesome experience as you explore to uncertainties. And if you are unaware, travelling to Myanmar will require Visa. Nan Hwa Chong Fishboat is the oldest (since 1927) fishhead steamboat in Singapore. If you ask your elderly, they will surely heard about it. It’s traditional fish soup steamboat represents Singapore’s heritage and memories to Singaporean. What makes them different from the rest is that the steamboats are prepared using charcoals instead of gas-stove steamboats. The soup is prepared with essence of fish bones and other secret ingredients. It takes at least 5 hours to cook so that the broth is silky smooth.
I have always wanted to try The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill but I am concerned my pocket will burn a hole. Since it was one of the Eileen’s birthday, we decided to have it here. Thanks to The Entertainer App, we get to enjoy the foods with affordable bill.
Located along One Fullerton, The Pelican has an al-fresco bar that caters to customers especially people working around the area to enjoy the drinks with light snacks with a view. The restaurant is well-known with it’s fresh seafood and we are so excited to try. I love the interior design of the restaurant with the yellow lighting with tear drop shape to lift up the ambience. The dining view overlooking the waterfront is also the plus point to enhance the dining experience. Continue reading [SG EATS]THE PELICAN SEAFOOD BAR & GRILL
When I saw the posts in Facebook, I knew I am going to come here for a weekend staycation. This newly-opened Lexis Hibiscus located at Port Dickson is a brand new concept by Lexis Hotel Group. Since there are still in the stage of soft opening, the promotion price was quite attractive from RM399 onwards. We got the Lexis Hibiscus Premium Pool Villa less than RM800 and include breakfast for 2 pax. Continue reading [M’SIA] STAYCATION AT LEXIS HIBISCUS PORT DICKSON HOTEL
Sometime back I joined the foodies for an invited tasting at Fish Tales. Located in ‘SCAPE’ which is a walking distance from Somerset MRT station, Fish Tales is a seafood place that specialized in all types of fishes with a range of pastas and sides. The seating areas are scattered along the shopping aisles where you are open to public while dining.
There are free flow fruit-infused water available at the corner for self-service. I think this is best for those who prefer to order mains only.
So, what’s are the dishes you can find in Fish Tales?
Truffle Fries S$7.50 with generous portion serving.
Mozzarella Cheese Sticks S$4.80 that is so cheesy that we tried to see how long can the cheese extend.
Sambal Prawns S$8.90 known as the best seller dish. The sample sauce is made-in house with their secret recipe. If you are a spicy lover, go for this as the spiciness gives us a good kick start of the meal.
On your left photo: Original Classic Fish & Chips S$5.90 (Light Catch)/ S$9.90. Decent pricing with well-balanced of servings.
Citron Sea Bass S$13.90 served with classic garlic lemon butter sauce.
Fish Tales offers a pocket friendly pricing especially in Orchard area. They do strategically price their foods at a reasonable price so that students can afford with Western Cuisine. However, there are also hit and misses dishes but given the overall range of foods served and quality, I still think Fish Tales did a pretty job in securing their niche market at SCAPE. And most importantly, there is no GST and service charges applicable.

Angelina Tea Room & Patisserie has a long history since 1903 and has built its reputation as a tea room with sophistication and indulgence. This reputable brand has finally opened its branch here in Capitol Piazza, Singapore. Hannah, Luna and I were at the same building last Saturday and decided to check it out after our event. It was an impromptu lunch as we are so excited with it’s opening. It was only the 2nd day of soft launch and surprisingly we did not need for long. We managed to dine in within 15 minutes waiting time. Continue reading [SG EATS] ANGELINA TEA ROOM & PATISSERIE| CAPITOL PIAZZA, SINGAPORE
