Yup! I got into the 3rd round of the Aqualabel contest!
Cheers! That’s one step nearer to dreamland, Tokyo!
So the third round is a video challenge and we were to think of a few lines for a 15 to 30 seconds video.
Some of you might think that it’s quite easy for me, since I had a Youtube channel.
But no, there’s a big difference!
On my own videos, I could ramble on and on and start again whenever I felt like it and just edit out any nonsense i said.
But in this challenge, I am only given 30 seconds per take and I only had 3 takes!
Also, I can’t make it for the filming workshop but luckily Stella and Yanny managed to rearrange another time for me to film. XD
So before the actual filming, I kept thinking of lines. My main point is to let the whole thing be short and simple and straight to the point.
Typing out the lines that I had in mine.
In the end, I chose 1a and 2b. Simply cause I thought I will overrun if I talked about 2a and 1a cause it’s always more interesting to have a question and answer thing.
But I was Wrong!
I did not overrun but I underran!!!
That’s like more worse!
Cause you still can edit away the excess parts but not the parts that are not there!
I can never can used to be infront of the camera with an actual cameraman behind the camera.Therefore I panicked and spoke like a bullet train for my first take. I stumble on my second, and stumble even more on my third. ><
I am more used to be behind the camera. LOL. Or I should say running a one man show. Me facing the camera and a mirror behind the camera to reflect whatever is captured so that I can see myself in action. The main point, a one man show. Haha, that’s when I can just make mistakes and don’t bother cause no one will see!
So after my filming, I immediately asked the Aqualabel staff, Stella and Claire if I could add in photos in the video and it’s a Yes! It was a big relief to me as it means I can solve my underran problem and met the minimum 15 seconds! Haha, I only spoke for like 11 or 12 seconds!
The editing part would be easy for me since I learnt the craft in school.
It was the converting part that was a headache! As the video was taken in ACVHD Lite format, it’s not supported by all programs not even Premiere Pro! >< Hence I have to convert it to another formart like AVI or MPEG. But then, the program provided was not working on my laptop! And I have to spend 2 whole hours googling for a converter online that works. Luckily for me, I eventually found one after many tries and converted my video! XD
Editing was ok, but due to time constraints, I did not managed to do much. But I think that it’s quite ok la. Hehe~ XD
Now, I would like to ask a big big favour from all of you lovely readers out there! My final video will be out on Aqualabel’s Facebook soon. So, it would be really awesome if you ladies/guys could like my video when it’s out. XD Do remember to first like Aqualabel’s Page and then like my video when it’s out! For part 2 of the contest, we all get to attend a workshop to learn about all about Aqualabel and try the products for ourselves! XD If you ladies recall, I have previously attended a similar workshop before the products were officially launched. Previously I tried out products from the Whitening line and this time round I tried the Moisturizing line. So I am proud to say I at least tried out most of the products that Aqualabel has to offer for at least once. XD

Based on what I have learnt from the workshop, I present to you :
The first thing we should know is that lack of moisture is the roots of all evil with regards to our skin. Be it dry skin or oily skin, it is the same problem which is the lack of moisture! And Aqualabel products is here to provide our skin with the moisture it needs.
In order to provide our skin with sufficient moisture, Aqualabel has an exclusive technology which is the Super Skincare Charging System which helps to infuse high amount of moisture and locking it in our skin.
Sink, Saturate and Seal is what this system does.
First it Sink with Aqua Synergy which blends with both water and oil so that moisture and other effective ingredients can be forced into the skin.
Then the Moist Aqua Keeping Base will help to Saturate and Seal! This base consists of 4 ingredients.
First is the Moisture Membrane which locks up moisture.
Second is the Double Hyaluronic Acid which has very high moisturizing effect.
Third is the Biocompatible Hydrating Liquid which replenishes our skin’s natural moisture.
Fourth is Aqua Synergy which was mention earlier which helps effective ingredients to penetrate into the skin.
This technology in all Aqualabel products will help provide and seal in the moisture that our skin needs. Other than that, Aqualabel have 3 ranges of products for people with different needs!
The Whitening line for the ladies who love being fair! XD
The Moisturizing line for ladies who needs moisture more then anything! XD
And of course the White AC line for acne prone skin ladies.
However, you do not need to stick to the same range of products. You can use products from all 3 different ranges to cater for your needs. For example you can use the Whitening line as a primary but replace the lotion and emulsion with those from the White AC range if you have acne problems and use the essences from the Moisturizing range for targeted areas and finish off with an enhancer of your choice depending on your needs! XD
Now moving on the the products itself. I have categorize them according to the steps of a skincare routine that I have learnt from the workshop.
First up, Cleanse.
Cleansing products includes the Deep Clear Cleansing Oil(WT), Creamy Oil Cleanser(MO), White Clear Foam(WT) and the Milky Mousse Foam(MO).
During the workshop, I have tried out the Creamy Oil Cleanser. It removes make up well but its texture is slightly oily as compared to the Deep Clear Cleansing Oil from the WT line I have also tried previously. But I must say the rose scent is more prominent in this product and I love it. XD
Look at the cottons and you’ll know how well it removes the makeup.
And since we can’t wash our face during the workshop, we are given hot towels to wipe our face instead in the facial style.

Next step is Soften!
Products included are the White Up Lotion S/R and the Moisture Lotion S/R and also the White AC Lotion which is not pictured.
S is for me and also ladies who have oily/combi skin while R is for ladies with dry skin.
Apply the lotion using a cotton pad and swipe it onto your face.
Next is Special Care which is all the essences! XD
Bright White EX Essence and Reset White Mask. Not forgetting the White AC Essence not pictured.
Moist Net Essence and Moist Charge Mask.
Moist Essence GG for pore minimizing, HA for fine lines and CL to plump up cheeks.
These essences are for target areas as mentioned but if you do not really need to target at specific areas, just go with the Moist Net Essence which includes all 3 ingredients, CL (Collagen), HA(Hyaluronic Acid) and GG(Glycyl Glycin) at a lower concentration level.
Here’s me trying out the Moist Charge Mask after applying the Moist Net Essence all over my face.
The special thing about Aqualabel’s mask is the S shaped cut which we lift up so as to help to firm the skin.
We became Mask Monsters for the sake of good skin! XD
Ok, time to remove the mask and do remember to remove it in an upwards motion! XD
Normally when we removed our masks, there will still be essences left on the face. And we should fully utilize the essence by messaging it into our skin. Here’s a video to show you the right way of massaging! XD
Next up is Moisturizing!
White Up Emulsion S/R, Moisture Emulsion S/R and also the White AC Emulsion not pictured.
Again, S is for oily/combi skin and R is for dry skin.
S is my choice~ Always apply your moisturizer and any other products in an upwards motion!
Then it’s time to enhance!
Aqua Enhancer WT and Aqua Enhancer MO(My fav!)
Pour a few drops of the enhancer onto a cotton pad.
Then pat it in to force all those good stuff we have applied earlier into the skin! *Pats*
Now after the enhancer, if it’s at night. Then the next thing you should apply is the night cream!
White Up Cream and the Moisture Cream.
If you’re heading out in the day, of course the next step is putting on sunscreen to protect ourselves from the evil UV rays!
Here’s a swatch of the Moist Protect Milk. It applies smoothly like the Perfect Protect Milk which I have tried previously too.
Aqualabel has a range of base makeup products too! XD
White Up Base, Moist Coat Essence(to conceal pores) and the White Liquid Foundation. There’s also the White Powder Foundation which is not pictured.
Here’s the White Up Base which is in a natural tone. This applies on very smoothly and do remember to shake it before using!
Here’s the White Liquid Foundation in PO 10 that I have tried.
Here’s a photo of the White Powder Foundation which I have tried previously. The coverage of this foundation is very good. And I am glad it’s the same for the liquid version.
Here’s me after applying the White Liquid Foundation in PO10, coverage wise is quite good. It managed to cover up my red spots and blemishes. The ladies at my table all agreed with me

Aqualabel has started an “Unravel Your Blogging Power” contest and registration was held at Ngee Ann City Watsons during 13th to 15th August. There was a special appearance by YES 93.3 FM DJ Jiahui on the 14th but I could not make it. But I was there on the 15th which was also the last day of registration instead! XD

“Unravel The Aqua Power”
I was greeted by a pretty lady (which I forgot to ask her name. ><) from Aqualabel who pass me a folder with the contest information and she also briefed me through the next step of the contest which is to attend an Aqualabel workshop which I will know about the next step of the contest after the workshop.
To me, it felt kind of exciting like a treasure hunt or amazing race and the ending point waiting for me is Tokyo, Japan! (Hopefully! Cause Japan is a place which I die die also must visit in my life!)
Then we proceeded to have my portrait taken with the Aqualabel poster with my favorite Aqualabel product. ~~ XD

Cause you just have to pat it in to seal it up! Simple enough for all to use!
I have tried both the enhancers, the Aqua Enhancer WT(sample) and this Aqua Enhancer MO(Bought with my own $$).
But I prefer the MO version, as I felt that my skin needs moisture more then whitening. (I’m fair enough! LOL!)
To me, I felt that the Aqua Enhancer, be it the MO or the WT is a must try product from the whole range of Aqualable products! XD
Cause it’s very simple to use, you just have to pat it in to seal up all the lotions, emulsions and essences we have applied.
Do note that when using the enhancer, we must pat and not swipe the product onto our face. This is because swiping will only wipe off the skincare products that we have applied. The patting motion helps to seals and press in the products to be absorbed by the skin.
The Aqua Enhancer can be used with any other products too! You don’t have to restrict yourself to just Aqualabel. This is very good for me as I switched products quite often either for reviewing purpose or just that I’m still in search for the best products!
The Aqua Enhancer also has a light rose scent which I find very refreshing. Also, when patting the product onto the skin, you can feel a cooling sensation and I love it.
Since I started using the Aqua Enhancer, I can feel a difference to my skin. I can feel that my skin has better absorbed all those products I applied and hence I know that they do work. This is all thanks to the Aqua Enhancer, it seals up so that the products will sink into our skin and work their magic proper. Not forgetting that the enhancers have their own good properties be it moisturizing or whitening depending on your needs.
Now my skin is more supple! XD
Or you could use the Aqua Enhancer MO and then have a whitening product in the form of either lotion, emulsion or essence and have the best of both worlds! XD
How can I not love the Aqua Enhancer MO when it gives me more supple skin!
It’s now one of my Holy Grail product which will remain as the last step of my skincare routine till the day I find something better.

Was invited by Yanny from Shiseido to attend the Aqualabel preview last Thursday. Was really glad that attended the preview cause I really liked some of the products i tried on that day! All the products have a rose like scent to it and they all felt very cooling when applied.
Here’s some of the products. These are from the Whitening range. Moisturizing range is in red.
Removed our makeup with the cleansing oil which does not feels oily at all. We were also given a hot towel each to wipe the cleanser oil off.
This is the white up lotion available in R and S. R is rich for normal/dry skin while S is supple for oily/combi skin.
S is for me~ Cause I have oily skin. ><
This is the essence from the White AC range, the range that is specially for acne prone skin.
And we tried on the mask from the Moisturizing range.

The White AC range only have 3 items, the lotion plus these 2.
Yanny telling us about the Moist Enhancer which I really like.
Sunscreen! Available in 2 types as shown. I love the texture of the Perfect Protect Milk UV! It was absorbed into the skin very quickly and it felt very smooth and not sticky at all!! I must get this after I am done with my current sunscreen.
Aqualabel has a base makeup range too! Which includes makeup base, 2 way cake as shown above and a liquid foundation. The coverage of the 2 way cake is really good!
Look at how good the coverage is! My blemishes are all covered! I think I will be getting this as soon as the Aqualabel products is officially launch on the 12th of July.
