Hey people we are back! It was a super tiring trip (again!) but we totally enjoyed ourselves! I actually missed chinese food because we had cafe food almost everyday. Eggs, toast, coffee, cakes and this repeats. I think I probably gain a few pounds but it’s okay cos I enjoyed myself so much! :D:D
I was abit stressed up during the trip because I had to come up with an idea for work but other than that everything is well and fun!
Today I’m going to share what I wear for this trip and also all the places (pics not included!) we’ve been to! Detailed post will be coming up after Bali and that will probably take awhile so be patient yeah!
Finally Australia is checked! I love Australia! I want to come back to Melbourne again! Actually I don’t like to visit the same place more than once or twice. For me I like to spend money on places that I’ve never been to instead of the same city. But Melbourne? Yes I will definitely go back again. But not so soon because I will want to visit Perth and Sydney first. =D
We took Scoot to Melbourne and my overall fare was about $1100 for two. Added insurance and checked in luggage for both of us. I almost upgrade to ScootBiz because it was a 7hrs and 40minutes flight but Simon nearly killed me for that. =P
Our Airbnb was about $640 for 6 nights and we spend about $1100 (food and expenses) for 7 days.
Alright let’s start with the blog now.
No make up with my open shoulder green knit top at Changi Airport.
Day 1: Took Skybus to Southern Cross station and had lunch at Hungry Jacks. Their Hungry Jacks is like our burger king!
We took tram to our airbnb next, which is at Collingwood. (will do full review on that!)
Tram got stopped and delayed because of the demo going on outside.
arrived at our Airbnb and changed to a new outfit.
Colorful off shoulder knit that I got from Ezbuy and my suede skirt from Carousell. Also with my new Gola sneakers I bought just one day before my trip because I think I can’t survive with Superga. This pair costs me $130 bucks but I’m very happy with it.
Couple shots around the neighbourhood just outside Pavlov’s Duck at Smith Street.
We were freezing but still need a selfie. Sweet right this shot LOL!
Dinner was at The Higher Ground Cafe (little bourke street) where we had atas Duck Confit, side dish and Coffee.
2nd Day: Hiking day.
Breakfast at Breakfast Thieves (Gore Street) before going to the National Rhododendron gardens.
Had Pie in the Sky for lunch (apparently #1 in Victoria), ordered takeaway and ate it at the Gardens.
Explore National Rhododendron Gardens (so many pretty flowers!) and HUGE TREES!
couple shot again. ^^
Big yellow tree!
Us admiring the super tall trees. Honestly I have a thing for tall trees, I don’t know why myself either but I find them very pretty. I don’t know if I blog about it before but one of the places on my to go list is the Sequotia National Park at California. The trees there are HUMONGOUS! Go google it.
The tiny me with the BIGBIG TREES!!
Simon told me there was this super huge tree where I can stand inside the trunk, YES but we didn’t have enough time to head over there. 🙁 So end up we took a bus and head to Kalorama lookout instead. 🙁
Didn’t have much time anymore so we are here waiting for the bus to go back to the station where we will head back to the city 😀
And here’s my tiring face with my ootd. Can’t show you the details of my dress cos I was freezing but it’s a dress from Warehouse.
For dinner we had Mappen Ramen (bourke street), (rhymes like melbourne?) and it was full of MSG. lol!
Day 3: 1 Day Grampians National Park tour with KKDAY. 🙂 Will write a full review on it too.
Standing at the Grand Canyon. I think I might have developed a interest for climbing rocks now. :O
Top H&M, neckerchief H&M, Denim shorts Cotton On, Stockings Topshop.
Outfit definitely not appropriate hahaha.
Melbourne sky is so blue!!
Us looking at the silverband falls. 😀
Dinner was Mcdonalds and lunch was provided.
Day 4: Exploring the city, EUREKA SKYDECK and shopping!
Using Maybelline Colorsensational Velvet Matte on the lips. 🙂
Breakfast was at Hammer and Tongs (Brunswick street).
then went to St Patrick Cathedral Melbourne. So magnificent!! Also visited St Paul’s.
Took some photos there too. And this is one of it.
Lunch was at Industry Beans (Rose Street) and Simon bought his aeropress there too.
Dinner was at Nandos because we were too tired to walk. We went to Eureka Skydeck 88 after dinner and it was so scary. We paid extra to go into the glass cube (the edge) and this cube extends from the tower’s 88th floor!!! The whole cube is glass made so the experience was quite scary! Will talk more about it in future posts!
Day 5: City, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, State Library of Victoria, Hosier lane!
First time sitting and playing around a tree. LOL
State library of Victoria is so beautiful! Went to Mr Tulk’s cafe too.
Then to Hosier Lane to check out all the graffiti! It’s a must visit!
I’m just quoting but yea, ‘fuck trump’ is on the wall.
Dinner was at Emporium, Spud Bar. Amazing potato dishes! Before we head back we also bought sushi from Sushi Hub.
Day 6: St Kilda, Queen Victoria market and Night noodle market!
First thing in the morning got coffee from the cafe right beside our Airbnb. It’s called the Knife Shop Cafe.
Me with coffee! 😀
Took a bus to St Kilda to visit St Kilda Pier! We spotted penguins hiding behind the rocks! I also wanted to visit Luna Park but it was closed!! =( Only open from friday to sundays!
Pink biker jacket from Ezbuy and my dress from (I forgot where).
Had lunch at Little blue restaurant. 🙂
Went to Queen Victoria Market next and had mussels from The Mussel Pot, fish and chips from the market food court and coffee from Market Lane Coffee! Wanted to go Old Melbourne Goal but we were too late. :/
All the beautiful architectures there. 😀
And Last stop for the day? Night Noodle Market at Birrarung Marr!! Didn’t plan for this at all, all thanks to my love Eunice for telling me. hehehe <3
Had beer, peking duck on fries from Bao Stop and thai cracking pork salad from Shallot Thai! The food were so good we nearly died! Will post the pics soon!
and of course it’s more pics of me again! =D couldn’t miss the golden hour!
Day 7: Had breakfast at The Knife Shop cafe and rush to the airport to catch our plane. LOL. Really fun trip! I miss Melbourne already!!
Oh by the way I actually spend money on the plane for the first time in my life. 20 bucks for instant food and coconut water. Guess we were too hungry. lol!
Till the next people! 😀 Counting down 2 weeks to Bali!

Do you dare to wear pajamas out? I think I would if I’m not in Singapore. Both outfits look super comfortable and chic!
I think to carry this off, one has to really work on the heels, accessories, makeup and hair. Otherwise she will look super sloppy and crazy. Imagine walking out like that with slippers.
But then models look good in anything! I think I might try this some day. BUT Mr Simon doesn’t allow it. Oh wells..
I will show you my house soon, I know it has been awhile. Till next.. Follow me on IG: claireaudreylim Any questions please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org Talk to us and join giveaways here: https://www.facebook.com/claireaudreylim/ =D
It has been awhile people. It is my outfits sharing post again. My recent love for mustard and chokers are pretty obvious. All my latest post have one or the other.
I personally think that Mustard is more suitable for autumn. I find it weird if I were to wear Mustard during spring or summer.
I will probably not bring any mustard tops to Melbourne (yes I did bring actually ;p) but anyway who will notice what season it is right. hahaha. Anyway this top I am wearing is from H&M. It is only $19 I think? They have other colours also but I think this mustard really stands out which is why I chose it. :p
I bought my simple choker from Carousell for about $5?
And the below mustard top with bell sleeves is from https://www.fairebelle.com/. Fairebelle is my favourite blogshop to shop at now. Their tops are at about $27 per piece, I think it’s pretty okay and the quality is good too.
If you love my heels (truth is it is actually too big for me) you can get it from MDS. ^^v
Well other than mustard, there is always my favourite white colour.
This choker is a gift from Daphy! My favourite one so far too!
And my top is from taobao (lousy quality btw but I manage to pull it off LOL!) My heels are from taobao too. I think I got it for $12?
I haven’t got time to take photos recently. Weekends all burnt because I’m travelling and I had to clear tons of stuff. (even had to work over here!) But I will probably spam tons of photos sooooo be prepared HAHAHA.
You can follow me on instagram @claireaudreylim to checkout my photos and ig story! 🙂
Shall stop here then.

I love pants, ripped jeans, oversize tee and pyjamas. At the same time I also love sweet and feminine pieces.
Recently I’ve been trying out more styles, exploring more and trying to be more confident. If you’ve noticed, I am more confident in front of camera now. I think it’s because my photographer is Simon but truth is I used to be awkward in front of him too.
It takes awhile, well maybe a few years, for me to really ‘act demure’ and ‘nice’ infront of him and the camera. It is kinda hard sometimes because he knows I’m a whiny and crazy kid so when I switched to my ‘demure’ mode, obviously he laughed. -.-
Anyway I’m glad that we finally reached that stage where I am no longer awkward in front him and the public and he is not that awkward when taking photos in front of people. ^^v
So I am just trying to say you should be bold, be daring, and try out any look that you like or want. I never wear rompers, I never wear jumpsuit, I never wear ALOT of nice clothes in the past because I always think that yucks I will look ugly, better don’t waste money. You know.. that kind of thoughts? But now, I don’t know why.. Probably after taking that long break, I finally understand what is YOLO. Already 26years old and I really don’t want to waste time thinking about what if I had done this or what if I had done that. I don’t want to live with regrets.
That’s why now I’m more daring, I’m more confident (better than the past!) and I stepped out of my comfort zone. Not entirely of course, it’s not a good thing either.
Actually today I just want to share with you this cute dress from Lexilyla. But I think I got carried away and type too much. haha.
That saturday I went out with this button cami dress from Lexilyla. Lexilyla is one of my favourite blogshops and I really like that all their clothes are so sweet and feminine.
This one comes in free size and it’s quite loose at the side so I wore a top underneath to make it more fitting.
Look at all the cute buttons on the dress.
Lovely and comfy.
Oh I also want to share with you the falsies that I have been wearing. It is the Star Lash Premium DB09. It is $8.90 per pair but I used it for 4 times already. 😡
I finally find a pair that can fit my eye shape (almond eye I suppose? And hooded eyelids), it is very natural looking too. Not the best one yet, but I’m happy with it. 🙂
Also using their eye lash glue, the transparent one. So far so good, it’s quite comfortable and doesn’t cause irritation to my eyes.
I don’t really like wearing falsies but sometimes have to play with them la. lol.. I also have a few beauty products I want to share with you guys soon. Will blog about them of course. So now I shall stop here, and I hope you guys enjoy my rant today.
Till the next. 🙂

Recently I’ve been wearing alot of blacks for fridays. No particular reason but I just feel like black on fridays. Black fridays? Yeah maybe!
It was just last week when I, for the first time actually wore a pair of heels to work! It’s not exactly a pair of heels heels because it feels more like sandals. But I absolutely love this pair because it’s comfortable with the right height and looked super nice with jeans!
It’s really true that heels will make you feel and be more confident. I felt super different when I’m wearing them. In a good way of course! And when you are confident, this means it’s time for some ootd shots! 😀
It’s also time to touch up my roots or maybe have a change in color. (Very happy that I’m going to work with Hairtistry Salon soon!)
And here’s a top view of my lovely pair.
By the way, it’s true that black does make us look slimmer, but be careful not to look boring! Remember to wear it with confidence and you will definitely stand out from the crowd. It’s always about the confidence, so let’s work together on it!

Hehe recently I bought a new pair of sneakers from Keds. It was 30% off so I got it for about $41++. Initially I wanted the mint one but they don’t have my size so I decided to get this pink one as I have never wear pink shoes before. :p
Isn’t it very cute?? I super love the shoelaces too. This pair comes with 2 shoelaces, full pink and this white with pink details.
I thought of my pink cap and decided to wear it together last saturday when I attended the usana smartshake event.
The sun is so strong that it washed out the pinks! And I’m sorry for the visibility of my bra. lol.
Remember I said I love pairing full black with cute or bright colours?
Think it’s the perfect casual combination. Black and pink goes so well together!
and Simon decided to snap a few of my candid shots as usual.
There was a giveaway going on so I got so excited and try to think of a creative way to take photo with the huge kat von d lipstick.
and this is the outcome. LOL!
Other than my keds, I recently also bought a white pair of sneakers from superga. very easy to match with clothes but I feel that the shoes are very heavy. :/
My original purple sneaks from superga.
That’s all for today! I think it would be better if my hair is pink. mmmm.

When I walked into Butter Studio, I had no idea that this is where Daphy ordered the cupcakes from for Athirah’s farewell. We went in because we were tired. tired from sourcing household items.
Butter Studio – Hand-baked goodness.
I wanted to try every single one of them except for the chocolate one (mainstream) because they are so beautiful!
The cupcakes. I tried the salted gula melaka one by the way. :p I want to try the lady ispahan cake the next time because the colours and the flavours (rose scented, raspberry and lychee!) they are just so attractive!
the rose pistachio sounds like a great idea too!
Ordered flat white as usual. Simon and I thought of using this board for our house as well because we want to act like we are chef and barista. HAHAHA.
I loved this fan but my living room has no space for ceiling fan already.
I think the decor at butter studio is pretty cool and unique. Its like a combination of rustic plus industrial.
am not a fan of sweet stuffs actually. Don’t really crave for cakes or cupcakes but whenever I eat cupcakes I just feel happy, maybe because they are very delicate and beautiful? I’m weird like that. But the salted gula melaka from Butter studio is really good! I super love it!
On top of the cream frosting, lays the shredded coconut and chocolate chips.
our flat white doesn’t really go well with the cake. :p
It was really good. But a suggestion here! Would be even better if the palm sugar can be more! 😀
After my happy treat, our last stop was at Castlery. Talking about this, I just went down to Castlery yesterday. I won the miller coffee table from their collaboration contest with the Singapore Coffee Festival. I’m very excited because this is the exact table that we wanted to buy initially! It was $499 which explains why we took so long to decide. BUT NOW I WIN IT WAHAHHAA. But I also spend another $800 for the miller tv console because matchy matchy then look nice. oh god..
Castlery’s opening hours.
So now my sofa, tv console and coffee table are all from Castlery. I haven’t update about my stay at the new house yet, long story again will explain next time. But before I end this post.
Dinner was at ABC market!! Had fried oyster after such a long time!!!!
TANGLIN fried oyster.
Look at the ORH (oysters!!) sighhh so sinful but so goooood.
and this bowl of meat. sedap!
I am finally ending my post here, just fyi I’m going away again. Don’t know if I should bring my laptop to blog anot cos it feels weird when I travel and not blog. zzz. Excited to visit my 2nd favourite place after 2-3years. Hope to travel to my 1st favourite place soon too. Why can’t we have more leaves, 14 is sooo not enough.. 🙁
