I’m rarely in a slinky number but this one from Opulence Label couldn’t be denied. If you know me well, I really have a thing for low-back detailing and the Sybil Asymmetrical dress‘s perfect back plunge shows just the right amount of skin. Also, who doesn’t love a dress that allows you to wear a normal strapless bra? (bwahahahaha). This piece lines my body like second skin. Made of polyester, the dress comes with a concealed back zip and a silver tipped sash – also available in Mulberry. Whether you’re headed to semi-casual business gatherings or high tea with the girls, this dress has got you covered. I paired mine with a dainty silver necklace, a charm bracelet and black mules.
If you’re fan of something more structured, the Saskia Jewel Curve Dress would be a great contender. What I love about it is the unique U-shaped hem – something I haven’t seen much of in the market. Granted – it’s a silhouette that takes getting used to, but if you work at a company with strict dress codes, one way around it would be to play with interesting new hem lines. For this look, I decided to leave my neckline clear of any distractions and drew attention to my ears with a pair of dangly silver chains and anchored the ensemble with my favourite black stilettos. Oh! Did I mention that this dress has pockets? Yes. It’s a winner.
