Taiwan,Taipei Lookbook

Taiwan with my siistAz was amazing! The cheap delicious food, the awesome shopping, the polite people and the efficient transport system makes this trip very memorable. I enjoyed every moment with girls, living with them for a week was definitely something new yet something that I can get used to. This trip was special because it was the very first oversea trip for us. We have been talking about travelling for many years now since are together for 10 years! It’s a relationship that I treasure and hold dearly to heart. I’m thankful for having them in my life.
Anyway back to Taiwan, if you want to know more about it do comment below and I will try my best to answer you base on what I’ve experienced. On the other hand, you can read on my first Taiwan trip last November HERE.

Taiwan is definitely worth travelling and if you love cooling weather then travelling during November would be a good time. Do bear in mind that during that period is also going to be a little crowded. Hope you like the looks, let me know which one you like the most!

Lush Herbalism | Mask of Magnaminty Review

Sponsorship

Hey lovely,
I so happy to be back with another Lush post and this time I’m so excited to share with you my new pot of gold! Since tapping into Lush skincare products, I can see an improvement on my skin. I personally have troubled skin and given the kind of climate that I’m living in, I found it so difficult to maintain my skin. My biggest enemy is “clogged pores” that’s filled with black and white heads. To make matter worst, living in Singapore which is always so hot makes my oily skin even oilier. It’s so frustrating when my skin breakout often even if it’s not that “time of the month“.
If you had read my blog a few post back on D’skin, you would know that my contract with them had ended hence, I’m looking into good skin care products to maintain my skin.
I’ve heard great things about Lush facial cleanser which is why I decided to tap into it.Well, let’s just say that I never regret since!
Here I’m sharing with you two of the current products that I’m using.

Herbalism is the facial cleanser that I’ve been using. Lush carries a wide range of facial cleanser to tackle different concerns. I love this cleanser so much that this is my third pot! [Disclaimer: I paid for the first two pots]
I have been using this cleanser for the past 3 months and it has been keeping my skin happy. A little background info on this products:
Herbalism helps to Clean, Balanced and Revitalised skin.
Cleans: Nettles, Rosemary and Rice Bran Vinegar
Exfoliate: Rice Bran and Ground Almonds
Balance skin tone: Chamomile Blue Oil and Rose Absolute
Revitalise: Chlorophyllin extracted from alfalfa
As mention above I’ve troubled/oily skin so this is one of their best-selling product for tackling my skin type. If you have dry skin, then opt for a pot of Angel On Bare Skin.
 Application:
  1. Dampen your face with warm water
  2. Place a pea-sized chunk in the palm of your hand and add water to create a paste
  3. Apply to your face using small, circular motions.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

After washing, you can feel that you skin does not feel dry as this product does not foam up and would not strip off the natural oil on your skin like how usually foam cleanser does.
Next, because of ingredients such as rice bran and ground almonds are natural, this means gentle exfoliation which is alright to be used daily.
Once you have rinse off the product. you will realise the immediate feeling of a clean and smooth skin which I swear by it!

This is a multi-purpose mask that can be used both on your face and body. It’s gentle yet effective when it comes to cleaning, calming and clearing the skin thanks to the ingredients in the mixture.
Stimulate skin: Peppermint Oil and Antibacterial Honey
Treat skin: Marigold Oil and Chlorophyllin
Exfoliate: Evening Primrose Seeds and Aduki Beans
Nourish: Mineral Rich Kaolin
Oh did I mention that this mask smell like mint chocolate ice cream?
 Application:
  1. Apply a generous layer on skin spread evenly
  2. Then gently scrub off with warm water after 10 minutes

Now you are left with super soft and smooth skin. If you like me, have been wanting to tap into product that uses more natural ingredients, I would highly suggest that you give Lush a try. Head into their store and let the staff know what skin concern are you dealing with and they will recommend you the product accordingly. On an alternative, you can also check out their sites HERE to find out more about the different products before heading to the store.

I hope this post have been helpful and I look forward to sharing more Lush products with you!

Bold and Lace

I’ve always wanted to try out putting a turtleneck pieces together. In this look, I pair up the turtleneck with a button up top. This is inspired by the Korean artist who loves layering an outer piece on top of the turtleneck to help bring out the look. This outfit is suitable air-conditioning indoors or a colder climax location. I decided to finish the look with a lace skirt and lace-up heels to add a little more feminine touch. Overall the look is chic and the print helps brings out the turtleneck top.
Let me know what you think of this look in the comment section and what would you like to see next! Thanks and Hugs!
