Fashion Week Highlights

MyFatPocket has a whole selection of articles covering the fashion week events, as you all should know, Feb to March is Fashion Week in these various cities:

New york fashion week [feb 6 to 13]

london fashion week [feb 14 to 18]

milan fashion week [feb 18 to 23]

paris fashion week [feb 25 to march 5]

My fav of all would be this… [Milan Fashion Week F/W 2014] Moschino F/W 2014 Collection with McDonald’s, Budweiser and Spongebob Squarepants

Tacky? Cheesy? Well, to some I guess, but to me this is something new, refreshing and cute! Though most of the outfits might be deemed more suitable as Halloween costumes. There are a few less over the top ones like this McDonalds inspired pull-over. I would so wear it out!

Singaporeans brave the haze for Hello Kitty

Last night, the haze hit an all-time high of PSI reading 321, prompting Minister Vivian Balakrishna to conduct a press conference to address the issue. Social media platforms like Facebook & Twitter were hot with updates of the fluctuating PSI reading;  from 190 at 8pm to 290 at 9pm and followed by 321 at 10pm before dropping to 282. Many were hoping for a state emergency where the MOM would declare the following day a non-working day.

And yet, at the same time when  the clock struck 12 o’clock. Singaporeans decided that it was worth it to go outdoors despite the NEA warnings just for a mouthless S$4.60 plush toy.

Yes, meet the Ugly Duckling Hello Kitty. After the previous Frog Prince plush was sold out within a day, many Singaporeans figured that they should act fast if they wanted to lay hands on this week’s collection.

To make matters worst, Mcdonalds had halted all Mcdeliveries due to the haze. And hence, kiasu Singaporeans had no choice but to brave the haze for their previous kitty. Seriously? You don’t say…

MacDonald’s Hello Kitty Craze

Once again, we will see Facebook, Instagram pages flooded with photos of the kitty with no mouth.

I’m wondering if they would have the Special Limited Edition version in Singapore? Because they had the owl one in Hongkong LAST YEAR and I am soooo envious.

Why is Singapore so outdated -_-
