My latest korean craze is not a Kdrama show or a Kpop celebrity but this Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask. Currently, this mask is only available in Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan. But I’m hoping that they would be bringing it to Singapore really soon!
This is a continuation of the Watson’s Day Out Reveal Part 1, do check it out if you have not read it yet. There are many new brands and products that will be exclusively available in Watsons. One of the brands include popular Korean Hydrogel Mask brand – Faith In Face.
I’d received my first electronic cleanser brush and it’s quite interesting. This is the IQueen 3D Secret Cleanser Brush from Korea. It has a specially formulated anti-microbial brush made of silicone which is why it is soft and flexible to touch. There is a switch on the wand which you press to make the brush head vibrate as you are cleansing. 12,000rpm of vibration helps create micro bubbles that effectively cleanses off dead skin and clogged pores. I had such satisfaction using this over my nose because it’s always so congested over there.
For a first timer to cleansing brushes, this is really simple to use. First, you wet your face to prep it for the cleansing and then you rinse the brush under running water. Next, you add your cleanser onto the brush. Lastly, you can start cleansing.
I’m a huge fan of the Etude House Precious Minerals Any Cushion because it gives me the coverage I need without any heaviness while giving me a dewy and natural look. So imagine my delight at the launch of the new Precious Minerals Moist Any Cushion with moisture being its key property to keep face hydrated all the time even in extreme dry weather.
Here’s presenting the Winter 2014 Arctic Aurora Colours Collection. I’d received these gorgeous eye colors from Etude House some time in Dec last year but had only managed to try them out recently. Check out the adorable winter-theme inspired names for their shade sand the super sweet packaging. I love the heart-shaped imprints they have on the eyeshadow itself too.

On Saturday night, I was at 1-Altitude to attend The Face Shop’s Raspberry Roots 1st Million Special Anniversary, along with June.
The Raspberry Roots series is a hot favorite among TFS fans and I have heard so much raves about it, especially the sleeping mask. Did you know that the Raspberry fruit is bursting with antioxidants, thus, it is full of skincare benefits and anti-aging properties.
The Jasmine Nail Kit is inspired by the Princess Jasmine from the Disney movie, Aladdin. This is part of the Princess Happy Endings collection which also includes a lip, eye and cheek color, of which I would be reviewing them soon in another blog post.
Love how the packaging resembles a story book, you’ve got to give it to the creative team at Etude House.
Have you watched a Korean show called “Let Me In Beauty”? It’s this beauty reality show where participants get to win a fully sponsored makeover. Living in Korea with below average looks can be stressful and depressing. It is through this show where the winners find hope and are able to start afresh with their new look. The most interesting part of the show is seeing how the winner of the makeover transforms during the whole process, with most of them spotting model-like looks and figures.
Above is the before and after photo one of the winners from Let Me In Beauty season 3, Dr Ban of Banobagi was the one in-charge of operating on her.
If you have been a faithful follower of the Let Me In Beauty series, you would know that Banobagi Plastic & Aesthetic Clinic had their panel of doctors for both season 3 and 4. And it excites me to share that Banobagi Plastic & Aesthetic Clinic is now looking for 5 women, residing in Singapore and above 21 years old, who desire to improve their looks via cosmetic surgery in Gangnam-gu Seoul, Korea. That’s like Let Me In Beauty the Singaporean version!
