[Review] Guardian Multi-Vitamin + Minerals Gummies & Guardian Omega-3 Chewable Gummies

As a mother of an active toddler, I find myself often trying out different vitamin supplements to add on to my boy’s nutritional intake and boost his immune system. So when I was given these 2 bottles of Guardian Kid’s vitamins, I couldn’t wait to start him on them.

Here’s a little more info on the vitamins which Asher has been taking for the past 2 weeks…

Rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, E and minerals such as Zinc, these yummy gummies provide important nutrients for a child’s immune health, energy levels and vision. They are vegetarian-friendly, with no added gelatine and preservatives, so your child gets the best that they deserve.

[Review] Simple Spotless Skincare

I was invited to try out the new Simple Spotless Skin range. Launched earlier this month, the Simple Spotless Skin range is specially formulated for acne-prone skin with emphasis on proper cleansing.

The secret to visibly clearer skin is simply keeping it clean. An often neglected skincare step, cleansing is the foundation of healthy skin and is especially important for acne-prone skin.  With proper cleansing, excess oil and impurities are removed from the skin, improving the skin’s health and radiance. A refreshingly clean skin is also better prepped to absorb the ingredients of serums, moisturisers and treatment care products!

photo 1-1So here’s what we have in the press kit – Spot Zapper, Facial Wash, Cleansing Pads & Cleansing Wipes.

The Simple Spotless Skin Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes come in a handy pack of 25 wipes. Great for travels, after a long day out or night partying away. It contains Zinc PCA & Chamomile to absorb excess oils and gently soothe. Being part of the Spotless range, it combats acne with a natural antibacterial called Phytosphingosine, ok, that was a mouthful, but anyway, it helps to fight spots and blemishes. It’s gentle for sensitive skin because it contains NO perfume or color. So you can be assured that there are no harsh chemicals in this rescue pack.

It’s tempting to just head to bed after a long night out, especially if you have been clubbing. But going to bed with your makeup on is something you will regret the morning after. I like using makeup wipes for travels especially because they are non-liquid, very handy and convenient.

I tested this on a full face makeup which comprised of BB cream, concealer, loose powder, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, blusher and lash glue. It took more than a few swipes but at least, it did get 99% of the makeup off. I say 99% because my lash glue is incredibly strong and quite a chore to remove. But overall, I’m still pretty satisfied with it’s performance.

The Spotless Skin Triple Action Face Wash is a great perk-me-up product that left me feeling refreshed. It doesn’t dry out your skin and it’s microbeads help exfoliate as I cleanse.

Cleansing pads are a personal favorite when I used to shop for my beauty stuff off Drugstore.com. These Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads like the other products in the range contain the same blend of acne combating ingredients.

What’s unique about these pads are its textured surface which helps to deep clean the T zone as it exfoliates. And best of all, there’s no need to rinse off. You can perform this step of the regime in your bed, even when you are that tired. I quite enjoyed the little scrub with this cleansing pad.

Last but not least, there is the Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper. So rapid, it claims to show results within 4 hours without irritating the skin with harsh chemicals. I have yet to put this to the test because thankfully, I’m still very blessed to not have any pimples now.

The Simple Spotless skincare range is available at selected Watsons, Guardian and major departmental stores.

[REVIEW] Korean skincare from Serenity Allure [Leaders Clinic included!]

It’s time to rejoice because Leaders Clinic, a highly popular Korean brand for beauty products is now available in Singapore. And you can get them from Serenity Allure, a new online store in town! They bring in Korean brands such as Leader Clinic & Bidanpo.

The lovely folks at Serenity Allure were nice enough to let me try out some of the products. I got this parcel from them last week:

So what’s in there?

From your left to right, you can see there’s the #1 – IPL Whitelux Ampoule Mask, #2 – Collagen Infusion Essential Mask & #3-Leaders Clinic Sulphur Blackhead Sunction Nose Pack.

Just a brief intro to Leaders Clinic – It’s a clinic range developed by top clinical experts in Korea. And they are the best-selling range of masks in Korea with many hot Korean celebrities as their users. These masks are different from other brands especially due to its ultra thin silk cellulose material; so that it fits on your face like a second skin. Allowing the mask’s essence to be effectively absorbed by your skin during the treatment.

There are 2 ranges in the masks series; The Ampoule & The Essential Masks. The Ampoule Masks contains the equivalent of one ampoule content. So it saves you the hassle of having to buy individual ampoule bottles and messing up if you have a broken glass ampoule bottle. While the Essential Masks contains highly concentrated essence.

They also carry special care products which target specific problems such as blackheads and sun care products as well.

2B Alternative Skirt Ready – The initial trial

If you have been shopping in Guardian, you might have noticed a new range of slimming products – 2B slimming products!

They are very popular in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China with many famous celebrities, beauty editors and bloggers as their users. Such as the famous Ms. Yeung Yi from TVB, Ms. Lily Ho (Ms. Hong Kong) who is also the face of their products.

The product which I chose to try out is the 2B Skirt Ready:

This product is amazing because it not only helps slim down the legs to ensure that it’s skirt ready; it also smoothens the skin and reduces hair growth! Now, that’s such a wonderful 2 in 1 product 😀

To be honest, I’ve only started using it for the first few days so there is no significant results yet. However, just let me share what I think about it. This is how the product looks like; kinda like kaya bread spread. It doesn’t have much scent and goes on easily.

I use this after my shower every night and apply on my entire leg area – from the thigh downwards to the ankles. There is a slight cool sensation after application and the product is absorbed pretty quickly. It does not leave any sticky residue or uncomfortable feeling after using it. In fact, I noticed lesser hair growth on my legs too lately and it could possibly be due to this 2b skirt ready cream!

It has 4-5 stars ratings on the SASA website so I have faith this product to give me the slim thighs and legs I long for without exercising. I will continue to use it and monitor the results… Once, I’m done with both tubs, I will be posting up my final review with more photos too. So do stay tuned for it.

Do check out their website: www.2blife.com

Their products are currently available at Guardian outlets in Singapore.
