Etude House makeup products never fail to amaze me! This round I have these lovely play 101 pencils to PLAY around with.
It is a fresh collaboration with Korea’s award-winning makeup guru, Pony who is really talented and pretty too. Even though, I usually only use eyeliner on my eyes because I suck at applying anything else. These colours were just too gorgeous to leave lying around.
I had gotten these lace nail stickers from Etude House a year ago. Yes, I can’t believe I have been keeping them for sooooo long. Last CNY (and I mean 2013), I had used the white ones for my nails. This time round, I’m using the black ones. These lace beauties were just dying to be seen… Continue reading
I had tried out all the colors as you can see from the first photo. And the dark shimmery blue is really pretty especially when paired with a golden glittery top coat.
I had used the denim blue as a base for the rest of the nails, painted the tips with the baby blue glittery one and topped it off with another colorful glittery top coat.
Both the golden glitters and colorful glitters top coats used were from the Christmas Miracle Collection by Etude House too. This is another lovely collection which I like, you can read all about my previous nail blog entry here.
This is seriously way overdue but I’ve only got the test to test them out recently. I’ve tried and tested out a few BB Creams from different brands. Some from Etude House, with the BBdation being one of my personal favourite. But check this out… Now, they have a new range out, presenting the Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit. It’s a global best-seller of Etude regarded as K Beauty BB Cream.
Why cotton fit? Because it instantly displays incredibly smooth skin with a cotton-like powdery finish.
It is currently available in 3 different shades: N02 Light Beige, W13 Natural Beige, W24 Honey Beige. I got the W13 Natural Beige to try out. This is one of the most commonly used shade too.
Next, check out the Skin Polishing CC Cream, which acts as an instant skin-coreecting make-up and skin-care all at once. It has an 8-in-1 function (Anti-aging, Stress Relief, Hydration, Whitening, Sun Protection, Tone-up, Smooth Texture and Luminosity). Its specially formulated Magic Layering Capsule of structures will layer the skin with glow while correcting and moisturizing.
There are 2 types available, the Silky for smooth or Glow for a needless to say glowing complexion. And because the current craze on CC Creams are all about achieving that all natural dewy skin look, I was excited to try out the Glow type.
After my trial, I managed to get some shots with my iPhone and here you go:
As you can see from the above photos, BB cream gave me the coverage I required. I had blemishes and redness but my skin tone was even out upon application of the BB cream. I was amazed at how fast it turned into a powdery smooth finish. This is definitely worth checking out, who knows, it might just as well replace the BBdation on the top of my list.
When I applied the CC cream alone, it gave me a glowy and radiant complexion which was however lacking in coverage. This is good enough for those who have perfect, flawless skin but just want a more glowing effect. But for those plagued with crappy skin like me, fret not, cause when you combine both the BB cream and CC cream. You will see wonders!
After applying the CC cream as a base and then adding on the BB cream for coverage. I saw that my blemishes were concealed while I got the most radiant, glowing complexion ever. It felt like as if my face was radiating sun beams out. Haha! Seriously, just check out the last photo above and how light was just bouncing off my cheeks?!
Do check out the Etude House branches in Singapore for these products. You definitely won’t regret trying.
I had blogged about the Etude House AC Clinic Line recently and on how I couldn’t try it out yet as I didn’t have any zits? Well, the moment you say such things, these irritating, annoying zits just pop out of nowhere. Read my previous entry HERE!
So I’m trying out the AC Clinic Line’s Intense Pink Powder Spot. It’s a spot care solution that contains 4 non-comedogenic ingredients such as natural Salicylic Acid, Hinoki Cypress, Chaga mushroom and Saururus Chinensis.
It dries up pretty fast after application and I went to bed looking like a polka dot pig.
The zits didn’t magically disappear the following morning and I admit that I was slightly disappointed. But it took around 2 days so to be honest, that’s still not too bad for an anti-pimple solution.
Then the other day I had a pop-up zit that was pretty reddish and angry-looking. It managed to calm it down the next day but it was still 3D and not flatted. However, the swelling did go down on the 2nd day. So overall, this is not bad for a pimple zapper 😉
It’s always a delight and something I look forward to every month to receive the Etude House Pink Box.
This month, we would be featuring the AC Clinic Intense range for troubled skin. If you have acne which is bothering you and affecting your self esteem as well as quality of life. Then this product might just be your saviour.
This first kit contains the AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot. It’s a spot care solution that contains 4 non-comedogenic ingredients such as natural Salicylic Acid, Hinoki Cypress, Chaga mushroom and Saururus Chinensis.
To use, you use a cotton bud, dip the solution onto the tip of the cotton bud and apply directly onto the affected area. I must be really lucky to announce that I do not have any zits now!!! XD So I can’t really do a full review for this… but I will follow up should I spot any
I tried out the cleanser and I love its herbal scent. It is gentle on the skin and that’s something very important for acne skin as you do not want to further agitate the zits or pores.
Check out the red spot balm, this is also known as the “whitening” spot balm. So if you have any acne blemishes to lighten then you got to use this.
If you wish to check out the above products and sample them on your skin, do head down to any Etude House outlets in Singapore
Do keep checking out my blog too, I’ll probably do a follow up on this one should I get a nasty zit >.<

As promised, I would do a review for the ETUDE HOUSE Christmas Miracle Nails. I had been contemplating a mani/pedi session to pamper myself of late but with a baby and limited time to myself, much less go out for a nail session. I decided to DIY with this 3 polish kit from Etude House in #2 Holiday Miracle.
Have you heard of the new revolutionary BB cream applicator? Presenting the Real Hand Touch by Etude House for applying the Precious Minerals BBdation. Now you too can achieve flawless skin like the Korean celebrities with this automated makeup artist touch tool.
I must say, this is one handy intelligent must have tool in your makeup pouch. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and vibrates so that the sponge dabs the BBdation all over like a makeup artist’s skillful hands.
So how do we go about using this amazing makeup tool? It’s really very simple. Just dab the Precious Mineral BBdation on areas of the face like your forehead, cheeks and chin with your fingers.
(I have eye makeup on and concealer on my under eyes though I know my eye bags are still very obvious, try looking after a newborn…. I apologize for the blurry photo, blame it on shaky hands.)
I was pretty pleased with the Precious Mineral BBdation as the texture was light and with the Real Hand Touch applicator, it was evenly applied all over my face. After that, just dust some loose powder lightly all over once you are done. The BBdation seems to blend in well with my skin tone despite my initial worries that it might be too light for my tanned skin color.
The Precious Mineral Bbdation as the name suggests, is a combination of the moist texture of the BB cream with the excellent coverage of foundation for translucent, mineral makeup. It contains Aloe Vera extract & Coconut oil which provides for antioxidant moisture care. Pearl powder gives you a non-clogging finish as the powder coverage melts and is absorbed into the skin for that flawless look.
I just realized that I’d forgotten to line my brows but do pardon me, I was rushing this review out while my dear baby was asleep and he wakes up for hourly feeds. So do just bear with me… 😉
