I’m a huge fan of the Etude House Precious Minerals Any Cushion because it gives me the coverage I need without any heaviness while giving me a dewy and natural look. So imagine my delight at the launch of the new Precious Minerals Moist Any Cushion with moisture being its key property to keep face hydrated all the time even in extreme dry weather.
Here’s presenting the Winter 2014 Arctic Aurora Colours Collection. I’d received these gorgeous eye colors from Etude House some time in Dec last year but had only managed to try them out recently. Check out the adorable winter-theme inspired names for their shade sand the super sweet packaging. I love the heart-shaped imprints they have on the eyeshadow itself too.

Just the other day when I met up with a friend, I found her scrutinizing my face before commenting on how smooth it looks. I was surprised because it also happened that I was wearing the Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation for the first time. We had met up 2 days ago but she didn’t make a single comment on my complexion then so I’m guessing that the Za Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation had a part to play in my flawless makeup look.
As a beauty blogger, I often get samples and even full-sized products to try out. I usually do not blog about the ones which don’t really tickle my fancy. While there are those which are so good that I have purchased or plan to purchase them once the samples which I’ve been given are all used up.
Currently, these are my top 5 picks which I love so much that I have repurchased them.
If you have been following my blog, you would have read about the nail kit from the Etude House Princess Happy Ending for Jasmine. The Etude House Princess Happy Ending collection comprises of the 4 Disney princesses; namely Snow White, Cinderella, Belle from Beauty & the Beast and not forgetting, Jasmine from Aladdin. Each Princess collection consists of cosmetic items to recreate the princess’ look.
So while some folks spent their Sunday night at the F1 race, I was over at Amara Hotel, surrounded by beautiful women, for the Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant 2014. Joining me for the night was fellow My Fat Pocket blogger, Jessie.
We were here to witness the 17 hopefuls vie for just 4 crowns, namely the Miss Tourism Queen International 2014, Miss Global Beauty Queen 2014, Miss Singapore All Nations 2014, Miss Friendship International 2014. The 1st runner-up would be given the title, Singapore International Model of the Year 2014 and the 2nd runner-up would be given the title, Singapore Bride of the World 2014.
Charity has always been a priority for all of ERM Singapore’s beauty pageants. And this year’s contest was no different, with its theme being “Beauty with a Heart”. And these ladies had actively helped to raise funds for the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped.
I love how my hair turns out in the photos! Woohoo!
(WARNING! LOTS OF IMAGES.. INCLUDING BIKINI BABES)
You’ve got to give it to the Japanese for coming up with the most kawaii cosmetic packaging. Especially one that has your childhood Japanese anime characters on it. Some of you might have spotted these La Rose de Versailles makeup products in Watsons, and if you are a fan, rejoice because CreerBeaute (Japanese cosmetic brand under Bandai) will be officially launching in Singapore!
In conjunction, they would also be lauching the Sailor Moon Miracle Romance range. (Swatches below) Ahhh… this brings back memories of my youth spending the after school hours depositing 20cent coins into a vending machine for Sailor Moon collector cards. Continue reading →
So you might have spotted these images circulating online, these celebrities looking like they were snotting white powder *ahem* and forgot to clean up before walking down the red carpet or did the makeup artist mistook baking soda for foundation/concealer? What actually went wrong?!?
Firstly, this is no baking soda screw-up and guess what? The most likely culprit is thought to be the highly raved Makeup Forever HD Powder.
