[Review] Beauty Haul From My Daily Skincare

Remember the last time I had shared about my favourite serum from Loveisderma?  Well, guess what? This time round I have managed to find a local online store that stocks not only products from Loveisderma but also a number of other cult beauty brands from Taiwan and Korea. So don’t say ‘Bo Jio‘ but do check out My Daily Skincare. The best thing is that they also offer international shipping so even you are located elsewhere other than Singapore, you can still get your beauty fix.

Presenting my beauty haul.

This is the Loveisderma B5 Hydraboost Gelly Masque which is a gel-based masque that is enhanced with a unique complex, containing the most effective hydrators which helps to increase the skin’s hydration levels and retain its natural protective barrier to prevent moisture loss. Ideal for use on a variety of skin types which include dry, dehydrated, aging and stressed skin.

I must say that the Loveisderma B5 Hydraboost Gelly Masque is my favourite among the lot. It appears to be like a huge jar of hair gel but is really a masque for the face. And it is really simple to use; you just spread an even and thick amount on your face, leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes, after which you can remove the gelly masque and just rinse your face.

During application, It felt like I was spreading jam all over my face. Here’s a tip when it comes to rinsing off. You should use the same spatula (which has been so kindly provided with the product itself) to gently scrap off the gelly masque before rinsing your face with water. I love how my skin felt after washing off, it was soft and smooth to touch. In fact, it felt rejuvenated and hydrated too.

So this is the 2nd step in my nightly routine now, here is presenting the 23.5N Red Pearl Barley Brightening Toner. The brand 23.5N also hauls from Taiwan and you can tell that they focus on using mainly natural ingredients in their beauty products.

Opening this bottle of toner felt like opening a bottle of barley drink. You can literally smell the barley scent wafting out of the bottle! Red Pearl Barley is known to have brightening properties and is one of the key ingredients in this toner. I like to use this after the gelly masque, by pouring just a little bit on my palm and tapping all over my face. You could also use it with a cotton pad too.

The last step in my routine to end it off, would be to use the Loveisderma Hydramax Serum. I apply it not only on my face but also along the entire neck region because the neck is one of the most neglected areas and also the one which reveals your true age. As you can see from the above photo, the one I have is the smaller sized version. However, the large bottle can be found on My Daily Skincare’s store. This is one of the must-get products from Loveisderma which I strongly recommend because it is lightweight and really hydrating, perfect for those who tend to spot dry skin due to long exposure in an air-con environment.

Last but not least, this was more of a fun choice, the Loveisderma UV Shield. I have never tried a tinted sunscreen before so I thought I would give this a go. UV Shield has an SPF of 50 which is sufficient for daily use and it provides protection against both UVA and UVB radiation which is something to look out for when it comes to selecting your sunscreen. What I like about this is that because it is tinted, you do not get that white sheen which most sunscreens leave. It works great as a base and makeup goes on smoothly after that.
