[Review] The Benefits Of Bust & Womb Care Massage At Chrysalis Spa

I am no stranger to massages but getting a Bust Lymphatic Drainage & Tummy Anti-Wind Relief Therapy (Womb Care) massage was a first for me. I arrived at the Chrysalis Spa at Ang Mo Kio Hub level 3, one of the 5 outlets which they have islandwide. And I was warmly greeted by the spa manager who served me some red dates tea promptly after I settled down. I had initially thought of getting a full body massage but decided on the Bust Lymphatic Drainage & Tummy Anti-Wind Relief Therapy (Womb Care) massage eventually because I had not tried anything like this before and I was looking forward to see what benefits I could reap from it.

Established since 2001, Chrysalis Spa is a one-stop spa haven for both men and women, offering beauty & spa services such as massages, body wraps, scrubs, facials, even eyebrow embroidery and more. Recently, the spa have also incorporated TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) treatments into their service offerings.

This is the locker area where I kept my belongings before being ushered to my treatment room. There is a toilet right beside the locker room, which makes it really convenient so you could have a quick go before going for your spa treatment.

The spa’s rustic Balinese decor is inviting and soothing at the same time. I was incredibly lucky to get the couple suite except that I was alone that day. I think this would be great place to pamper your partner, sister or even mother for a nice massage together.

The couple treatment room is fully equipped with two separate treatment beds, a bath tub and an attached shower room. Too bad I was just here for the massage and not a full indulgence experience. Couples, you may consider this place for a pampering and romantic spa escapade.

My therapist introduced herself and got me to change into the treatment robe. We started off with the Bust Lymphatic Drainage massage. While I’m told that this massage is suitable for woman who are facing breast issues like sagging or unflattering bust line. I think that all women should go for it because of the benefits.

Massaging also helps to break up benign cysts, strengthens the muscle tissue of the chest and builds resiliency in the ligaments. As the breasts are  located close to the lymphatic nodes which are a part of the lymphatic drainage system, this massage is a detoxfying treatment that helps in prevention of bust related illnesses. The massage also helps increase blood circulation, which in turn aids in stimulating mammary glands that restore the look of our womanly assets, making them more firm and defined, creating a natural bust shape look.

During the massage, my therapist discovered that the lymph nodes on the right side of my armpit was slightly larger than the ones on my left and so she recommended that I massage it daily during the shower. She encouraged regularly massaging because we women are so prone to bust diseases such as cancer and that checking our body on regular basis, meant that we are more in tune with it and would discover any lumps or issues at an early stage.

Once the bust massage was done, a mask was applied to my bust. This was the first time my boobs got a mask! It was really interesting and a new experience for me. The mask felt really cooling against my skin and I could not wait for the womb care massage to begin next.

The Tummy Anti-Wind Relief Therapy also known as the Womb Care massage is a highly intensive deep pressure and rhythmic treatment which uses techniques to re-establish vital energy flow throughout the body. It helps to enhance blood circulation, immunity, vitality and overall body health.

Benefits of this treatment includes gradually removing toxic residues from tissues, treating energy blockages throughout the body and into the lymphatic system for disposal. Like the bust care massage, this treatment also helps in the prevention of ovary & womb cancer because it is also a detoxifying treatment.

All in all, I enjoyed both massages, and having a better idea of the health benefits of it all. My only grouse is that they only lasted 20 minutes each. Perhaps this would go well with a good 1 hour body massage? A nice 1 hour 40 minutes of pampering and detoxifying massage sounds really great!
