My latest korean craze is not a Kdrama show or a Kpop celebrity but this Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask. Currently, this mask is only available in Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan. But I’m hoping that they would be bringing it to Singapore really soon!
Gobdigoun is a brand founded in Korea since 2010. Currently, their best-selling products include the 24K Golden Cream of Placental Power and Placenta Cellulose Gel Mask. I was really lucky and excited to get to try out the Placental Bio Cellulose Gel Mask.
This Gobdigoun product is a hydrogel mask unlike normal sheet masks. It’s key ingredient would be the sheep placenta extract which is known for its abundant amino acid and peptide. This mask moisturises and revitalises skin, improving one’s complexion to achieve hydrated, smooth and clear skin.
The mask comes in two pieces, the upper layer would cover from the forehead to the nose, which is your T-zone. Whereas the lower layer is for the area starting from the mouth, that is your V-zone.
Here’s how to use it.
- Wash your face
- Apply toner
- Put on the Gobdigoun Placental Bio Cellulose Gel Mask starting with the upper part of your face, followed by the second layer which is your chin area.
- Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes
- Remove mask once time is up, pat excess essence onto skin
After using the mask weekly for around a month, I found that my skin felt moisturised and had this healthy glow. The essence in each pack is really generous and I would use the excess to apply on my neck and décolleté. In fact, there’s still enough to also apply on my arms and legs too.
More information about Gobdigoun can be found on their website. Each box of Gobdigoun Placental Bio Cellulose Gel Mask contains 10 sheets of mask. It is currently retailing for KRW120,000 which is approximately SGD142. But since it is a box of 10, so it is still considered quite worth it.
