As part of my 3D projection makeover, Dr Terence Tan of Halley Medical Aesthetics recommended Sculptra, one of the latest innovative skin treatment, to pump up my cheeks for a fuller look. The areas below my eyes look sunken, thus, making me appear older and tired than I really am. So what is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid that induces the production of new collagen in the depths of the skin. Also known as a non-surgical face lift, once Sculptra is injected into the skin, natural collagen is stimulated. The new collagen would increase in volume, correcting the signs of facial aging such as the folds, wrinkles and skin laxity. And the results? A youthful and fuller appearance that’s so sought after.
But Sculptra is not limited to just treating wrinkles or giving one a face lift. For those lacking facial volume, you could also consider Sculptra in place of the traditional fillers. Like in my case, I would be getting Sculptra for my cheeks for a fuller, 3D appearance. Can’t wait to show off the final results of my Sculptra treatment, do look out for my next blog update. 😉
