We went invited to the Christmas Light-up Party at Orchard Hotel that’s conveniently located in the heart of the city. It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas now with all the Christmas decor and light ups at Orchard Road. And it was nice honor to be one of the first to witness the unveiling of their enchanting Snowy Christmas Glass House.
We were treated to a yummy gourmet dinner by La Terrasse, which is located at Level 2 of the hotel. La Terrasse serves international cuisine but the spread today were mostly Christmas-inspired. Just check out my photos, expect lots of hunger-inducing pictures… WARNING! FOOD PORN!
The meat station:
Love the finger food dish that featured the salmon, very refreshing and succulent.
There were salads, mushrooms, french beans and duck…
I didn’t manage to try all of the food because I was busy trying out their cocktails too.
And of course, saving space in that tummy for some dessert. Just look at the Christmas dessert spread.
I’m not a fan of ginger but I love to snap plenty of photos of gingerbread houses and gingerbread men.
And then, there’s the cheesecakes, tarts and fruit cakes. Oh my goodness, everything looks so sinfully good. I had a tough time controlling myself.
Of course, I couldn’t resist and had quite a bit of the sweet treats.
I had an awesome time at the party, thank you Orchard Hotel for inviting me and my partner but my heels were hurting my feet badly so I had to leave early.
Anyway, if you happen to be around Orchard and you are looking for some unique Christmas treats. Why not just head down to Orchard Hotel to check out their Christmas goodies? You won’t miss the huge Christmas tree and snow globe display at the hotel lobby, there’s a booth behind it and you can find all sorts of Christmas delights there. From the usual log cakes and adorable gingerbread man cookies to whimsically packaged goodie hampers.
And while you are there, why not take a selfie with Olaf too?
