Seaweed is becoming a popular choice in skincare products, facial and spa treatments as more recognize its ability to moisturize, nourish and revitalize the skin. Seaweed is loaded with vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids. The Seaweed Bath Co’s products use Bladderwrack seaweed that is rich in essential and non-essential amino acids. Amino acids help to hydrate dry skin and alleviate flaking, scaling and red skin often associated with certain skin conditions.
Today, I will be sharing some products which I have received from The Seaweed Bath Co.
As the skin is highly susceptible to environmental damage, no thanks to high number of pollutants in the air. The Seaweed Bath Co’s range of hair and skin care products contains high-quality and all-natural ingredients, specially designed and dedicated to moisture and nourish dry and irritated skin.
The Wildy Natural Seaweed Body Cream (S$38.80) is a new body cream I’m adding on to my collection. I love that it contains Argan oil and kukui oil, both of which have superb moisturizing properties. It has a soothing slightly minty scent because of its Eucalyptus and peppermint essential oil. All ingredients used are natural and pure, making it safe even for those with sensitive skin. I slather some on my 2 year old boy because we both sleep in an air-conditioned room and sometimes our skin can get pretty dehydrated.
Next, let me share about the the Wildy Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoo (354ml at S$42.80) & Wildy Natural Seaweed Argan Conditioner (354ml at S$42.80). Both the shampoo and conditioner are specially suited for dry, damaged and color-treated hair, just perfect for me! If you have been following my blog, you would have read about my new hair color. Yes, I’ve gotten purple streaks in my hair that required some bleaching so it is rather dry now.
And because it is dry, it tends to get tangled easily, making it difficult to manage at times. However, after using both the shampoo and conditioner, I could comb through my hair with ease. The shampoo contains argan oil and pro-vitamin b5 while the conditioner has a triple oil combination – argan oil, avocado oil and coconut oil. I find the shampoo OK but I’m really loving the conditioner because it does not give me an oily scalp. You know most, if not all conditioners are meant for use at the hair ends only. However, this one actually encourages you to massage it onto your scalp too. After rinsing, my hair feels much smoother and softer. To top that, the conditioner had a great citrus scent that left my hair smelling so nice.
