[Review+Event] Japanese Anime Sailor Moon Miracle Romance Makeup By CreerBeaute

You’ve got to give it to the Japanese for coming up with the most kawaii cosmetic packaging. Especially one that has your childhood Japanese anime characters on it. Some of you might have spotted these La Rose de Versailles makeup products in Watsons, and if you are a fan, rejoice because CreerBeaute (Japanese cosmetic brand under Bandai) will be officially launching in Singapore!

In conjunction, they would also be lauching the Sailor Moon Miracle Romance range. (Swatches below) Ahhh… this brings back memories of my youth spending the after school hours depositing 20cent coins into a vending machine for Sailor Moon collector cards.

Hello Sailor Moon!

The media launch was held at Oasis Hotel and kudos to the PR team for the place looked magical. We were also treated to a live makeup demonstration by famed makeup artist from Japan, Mawaki Yamamoto, who worked his magic on the beautiful volunteers.

Based on a popular manga, Versalilles is the most popular makeup line under CreerBeaute. It boasts of the highly raved Rose of Versailles Volume Mascara, COSME 2 time award winning Lady Oscar Liquid Eyeliner Black and the facial sheet masks too.

There’s several types of eyeliners available in this range. Depending on your preference, be it liquid or pencil, you are bound to find something that suits you. So these were the three eyeliners I had received in my goodie bag. Prices for these eyeliners range from (Liquid Eyeliner) S$20.50 to (Pencil Eyeliner) S$22.60.

I’m not much of a black eyeliner person since I find it too harsh-looking. But when you are presented with a not one but two-time award winning eyeliner, I just had to give it a try.

Surprisingly, it turned out pretty nice on me. I like that despite being a long-wearing eyeliner, it can be easily cleaned off with an eye makeup remover. I’d tried another Japanese brand eyeliner that does not smudge but is a nightmare when it comes to taking it off.

I had also lined my lower lids with the Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Pencilliner White for bigger eyes.

This pencil has a creamy texture and contains shimmery powder for that sparkly, bright and fresh look. It is also waterproof, anti-swear and long-lasting. This is one of my favorites and would be going into my makeup pouch.

And coloured eyeliners are all the rage now, check out these Sailor Moon Miracle Romance lameliners in vibrant, shimmery shades.

Notice that there are five different colours, each to represent the different sailor girls.

#1 – Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner Set Orange Gold S$36.90

#2 – Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner Set Green S$36.90

Both sets contains the Miracle Romance Power Prism Liquidliners too. The Orange Gold one is the brown eyeliner while the green set is the black eyeliner.

#3 – Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner Blue S$24.90

#4 – Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner Red S$24.90

#5 – Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Pencilliner White S$18.50

Tried a little bit of Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner in Green, pardon the grainy photo as I had used my mobile to snap this shot. I must admit, I am a boring person who is used to using dark brown eyeliner only. So this was a refreshing and wearable look. Can’t wait to utilize these pretty coloured shimmery lameliners soon!

Miracle Romance can be found at any Watsons stores. While Versailles is available at Jurong Point, Vivo City, Ngee Ann City, Asia Sqaure, Compass Point, Parkway  Parade, Junction 8, Causeway Point, Yew Tee Point and West Mall Watsons branches.
