I’m a big fan of the liquid foundation by Mary Kay so imagine my excitement when I was introduced to the Mary Kay’s CC Cream Sunscreen SPF 15.
The Mary Kay® CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 delivers eight benefits in one step: protects, brightens, corrects, minimizes redness, conceals, hydrates, reduces visible signs of aging, and defends. These are the 2 shades which I got to test…
After doing a swatch on my hand, I decided that light to medium was more suitable for my skin tone.
I would say Mary Kay CC Cream has the best coverage among all of the other CC Creams which I have tried. The photos above really don’t do it the justice it deserves. I have rather severe dark eye rings (I’m a mother of an active toddler, remember?) so I think it would be advisable to still use concealer on that area. However, I think the CC cream did a great job concealing my other flaws, brightening my skin tone and at the same time, giving it an even and healthy-looking glow.
The Mary Kay CC cream is shown to hydrate for 10 hours and prevent skin from sunburn. I didn’t stay outdoors under the sun long enough to test this out but my skin did not feel greasy or dry at the end of my day out shopping.
Overall, you can say I’m a satisfied user, this one goes down in my favorite list too. It reminds me so much of the liquid foundation. Both are creamy and gives smooth application with awesome coverage (something which I’m rather particular about when it comes to my makeup cream foundations).
The Mary Kay® CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 would be available in four shades starting 1st April 2014, at S$37
