I’m a lazy girl and branding myself a minimalist when it comes to fashion is just a handy excuse. But seriously, how can anyone not adore the no frills dresses bring. You need not crack your brains on what tops and bottoms to match. Just throw on that dress and those mile high heels and you’re all ready to take on the world!
Ok, not a dress like the one above but you get the idea. Pardon the poorly taken photos due to the poor lighting in my bedroom.
Just to share, a few of my favorite dresses for work.
The simple black dress that is corporate ready and easy to accessorize. You should have at least ONE black dress in your wardrobe.
A nice necklace to go with it… one that is unique and would match all other solid color outfits.
Colorblocks are also a major weakness of mine. I have several color block dresses, but this just happen to be one of the latest addition. They look great for dress-me-down Fridays and are neither over the top or too casual.
Monos are cool too especially if you pair it with a fancy belt. In fact, they all ooze the most ‘corporate chic’ feel.
And last but not least, the ever flattering body con dress. This takes you from work to the evening chill out sessions. I find it very versatile and a must-have too.
