Divorce is getting increasingly common in Singapore, even among older couples, despite there still being a lingering taboo surrounding it. Just in 2015, it was reported that there were more divorces and annulment cases as compared to marriages. I certainly do not advocate divorce unless it is the only solution left in a broken marriage. And while divorce is definitely an unpleasant event, it is important to also look at the positive side of it.
Before one begins the process of rebuilding your life after divorce, it is essential to make sure that you are getting the right and proper legal guidance. It is not only important to find the best divorce lawyer but also making sure that the lawyer is a right fit for you. Divorce itself is already a stressful process, so it is essential to make sure that you are getting a good divorce lawyer. No one wants to waste money and time going through several lawyers only to increase the animosity between your spouse and further affecting the children.
I was first introduced to crystals by a friend and yes, I have seen them around shops. I recall that my dad has an amethyst geode at home. From my limited knowledge of crystals, I used to think of crystal usage in primarily Feng Shui functions. Feng Shui is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment. Likewise, many New Age practitioners also use crystals for similar functions as Feng Shui practitioners.
There are two types of crystal collectors, the ones that keep them for their beauty and use them as decorative purposes. And there are the ones who believe that crystals have healing properties and use them in their various mediation or healing processes.
Crystals are thought to possess different levels of energy and have a vibration which can be measured, and according to the level of the vibration can be effective healers of individual chakras. The Sanskrit word Chakra literally Translate to wheel or disk. It is believed that the human body has seven centres of spiritual power,of which these are referred to as the chakra. I could go on more about this but let’s keep things simple and talk about my crystals first.
Crystal healing is an ancient art that dates back many years and I understand that there are studies claiming crystal healing to be pseudoscience. Some believe that it is just a placebo effect that people who had positive encounters with crystal healing. Personally, I would suggest going with your intuition. If you think that crystals are just a bunch of hogwash then it would remain what it is and never work for you. But if you have an open mind when it comes to crystals, then you might be surprised at what you would discover and experience.
I was going through old emails when I chanced upon one displaying results from an interesting quiz which I had taken. It was the Love Language quiz by Dr Gary Chapman. According to his theory, there are these five main love languages in which we express and experience love and that each person has one primary and one secondary love language. Dr Chapman suggests that to discover another person’s love language, one must observe the way they express love to others, and analyze what they complain about most often and what they request from their significant other most often. He theorizes that people tend to naturally give love in the way that they prefer to receive love.
Just months back, I was in such a low state that you could feel my negative vibes just miles away. It got so bad that there were occasions where I would just break down whenever I spoke to a close friend about the issues I was facing. This has never happened to me before! I guess there is a first time for everything. Fortunately, I am in a better state of mind now.
However, looking back, things were pretty ugly then and a concerned friend warned me, that if I did not snap out of it, I would hit rock bottom. And should I hit rock bottom, it was going to be much more tougher to get out of that sinking hole. She advised that I should stop all the negativity and get out of the pit while I can. One of the first steps I had to take was to change my perspective. Continue reading →

We often hear about the benefits of consuming vegetables and fruits and how they are essential in completing your daily diet. But if you are like me, then you probably are not much of a fan of greens. However, I do love fruits though I am often too lazy to add them into my daily meals. So there have been days where I have skipped adding the necessary greens and fruits into my meals, which is not exactly a healthy option but due to inconvenience, this was the only option. That was until I found Unif in the supermarkets, now I no longer need to worry much about not consuming sufficient greens and fruits for my meals. This is because Unif 100% juice is made from a combination of vegetables and fruits.
There for 4 variations of the Unif vegetable and fruit juices currently available and they are the:
Remember the Korean V Lift I did previously at The Knightsbridge Clinic? Well, it has been 2 months and I have decided to post an update on how my face looks like now. I can definitely see the difference which is showing now.

Looking back, 2016 wasn’t as horrible as I had made it out to be. I had been so blinded by my anger and bitterness that I had overlooked the immerse amount of blessings I had received in 2016. Just to recall for my blog, I remember starting off the year with a wonderful media invite at CulinaryOn, Asher and I had blast making pasta. The following months brought some great blog collaboration opportunities. As for my social life, I had the chance to reconnect with friends whom played an essential role in being a pillar of strength for the trying period.
Last year’s resolution was simply to lose weight and save more since I was going to start a job. Moving forward this year, I am going to focus on spiritual and emotional healing and growth. I am thankful to a friend who has been giving me guidance so far. I also want to foster stronger relationship with family, communicate better and spend more quality time with them.
But I am not going to be ambitious and start listing my new year resolutions this round. because we all know what happen to new year resolutions after awhile. So I think I shall just end this here for now.
2017, I just know you are going to be an awesome year!
