Hey guys, how’s it going? :>
Ahhh, it’s so hot back in sunny SG that I miss Sydney so much alrd :<
The skies are so much bluer there, the breeze, the trees, oh those beaches and the waves.
Kinda departed with a heavy heart,
don’t really like leaving things behind.
Although I know no one is indispensable,
but I still fear that during my absence, something bad happens and I can’t be around to do anything.
What a helpless feeling :/
But I had to say a temporary goodbye.
My lepak attire for the flight
The flight was about 7 hours long overnight.
I sat beside a Vietnamese man who thought that I was Vietnamese too.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Previously on the mrt, this auntie also asked me if I’m from Myanmar.
Don’t I look chinese enough? Meh.
The flight was really bad,
was fighting my period cramps the whole night.
Super awful :<
But at least, I recovered by morning.
Amanda is strong *flex non existent muscles* HAHHA
Checked into Mercure Sydney Hotel!
Stairs in my suite! HAHAH kidding, this was in the lobby.
We checked in and felt really hungry so we headed out for some food!
Old looking building just outside the hotel
Couldn’t help but stop to take OOTDs
Love my sister’s knitted vest thingy
The hotel is smack in the city.
With University of Technology and University of Sydney just down the road,
the place was buzzing with students and full of life.
Lots of sushi places around to fill the tummies of hungry students
Reminds me of Aussie Roll at Chevron house back in SG. If you like Sushi Hub’s FB page, you get one roll free. SO GOOD RIGHT
Blue skies and majestic clock tower, lovin all the old architecture!
We took a bus to get to the Sydney Harbour,
transport is quite exp in the city.
One trip easily costs you 3.80 AUD.
Passed by a lovely lil park otw
It was just a short walk,
the harbour is located at Circular Quay, which has a railway station!
Someone please buy me flowers

The sun sets really early,
like around 4.30pm, the sun is already preparing to end the day
Lookin’ more and more alike
After all the gawking,
we decided to train back to our hotel area to have dinner.
Our hotel is really near The Central Station.
Understand that shops close really early in the evening,
but thankfully we managed to find a lil vietnamese shop to fill our tummies.
A nice hot bowl of beef noodles with soup :>
In Australia, you learn to take it slow.
There isn’t much to do at night unless you go drinking or clubbing.
We ended the day with a trip to the supermarket, we just love Australian supermarkets.
So much variety and S P A C E to run around.
We woke up bright and early to go on a day tour to the Blue Mountains!
The first stop was actually a Aboriginal Centre, where we learnt more about their culture; their dance and their music.
Then we headed to Scenic World
At Scenic world, there are basically 3 rides that you can take. It will bring you into the valley where you can be one with nature :>
Skyway, here we come!
Totally feeling the height
I believe that’s where we came from.
We headed for our next ride, hohoho
Was in for a big surprise
Tram to the future?
Couldn’t understand why the seats were so weird until…
T H E D R O P
IT WAS MAD STEEP OMG LIKE ROLLER COASTER
WE SURVIVED and reached the bottom
Closing up on that sign, VERTICAL DROP OF 250M STEEPEST INCLINE OF 52″
Spot the 3 Sisters
If only this was a Singapore sky
OOTD in the valley
We took a leisure valley walk,
enjoying the cool weather,
eating apples and snacks,
talking about our lives.
Just wanna lay and watch the clouds pass by
The bus brought us to an area with shophouses for lunch!
Love love shophouses.
We explored a little,
had cheap fish and chips at a takeaway shop run by chinese,
and peeked into the chocolatier stalls.
Then, we headed to Featherdale Wildlife park for some animal lovin’
We were greeted by a cutie
Swear this bird comes from the jurassic ages
This cockatoo can talk! Super smart hehe
Pelicans are such big mouths LITERALLY
Koalas can eat super a lot
this hungry roo lookin’ for food
Fruit bats fighting for apple
Don’t be fooled by this seemingly cute Tasmanian devil

AHAH I GOT YOU.
See you still dare to eat chicken feet a not uh
Sigh, when will I find my companion?
Missin’ you when you’re gone.
To finish off the day,
we cruised back to the city!
Just in time for sunset views *heartshaped eyes*
Would kill to stay in one of these houses
Yatches and the high life.
Upon reaching the city, we headed to the Central, which was a mall near the hotel.
Sissy and I decided to get some Mexican food!
Look at the size of that burito!
i’m so wicked.
