I love my lil sister.

Had to say that before I continued.

Happy 17th lil munchkin, you’re growing up so fast!
Although you’re still that lil ball of a sis in my eyes hehehe :>

I hope you’d be able to deal with your school stress well,
and may you have new strength to deal with whatever life may throw you.
Also, have more self-confidence and remember to enjoy the little things in life.
ALWAYS SMILE!
Love ya :>

Cafe 2000 at M Hotel

My parents are members of the Millenium Hotels
and so we go to their hotels to have buffet gatherings or family dinners quite often.

Cafe 2000 serves more premium buffet choices and we decided to head there to celebrate my sister’s 17th!

Picture

A really nice selection of buns and bread :>

Picture

Starting the meal right with a nice plate of greens (:

Picture

I didn’t take the crabs tho, too lazy to crack the shell and stuff :/

Picture

The laziness spilled over to the prawns as well, was lazy to deshell. On a side note, I think love is when someone deshells prawns for you. :>

Picture

Yay family photo :>

Count the age, not the wrinkles you have. Count the blessings and the wonderful experience not the mistakes you have made.

Missing in action

I’ve disappeared for so long and I must apologize :/

I do have very good reasons for my disappearance tho:

1) Started working at school at the Student Services Office
to help process bursary applications
It is a really meaningful job, not only because you’re providing aid to people
but also because I am being put in a leadership position where I can further hone my leadership skills
and learn from my peers like JY and Hana.

You also learn a lot of people skills,
how to talk to frustrated parents,
how to calm down crying kids,
how to manage an overwhelming crowd and so on.

Sure, the pay is not fantastic, and ITS HECK LOT OF STRESS BECAUSE YOU’RE DEALING WITH GOVT MONEY ESSENTIALLY.
But with that said, I’m thankful for the new friendships forged, which brings me to my next point:

2) Gymming
Jieyi’s bf has a very strict gym routine for her and I’ve been accompanying her.
I’m targeting arms, legs and abs!
I plan to gym twice a week and my body is sore as hell
BUT I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end. :>

Picture

A pink sports bra is a girl’s best friend, and of course you always need a gym companion to push you through :>

Picture

We kissed the girl teehee

Picture

You’ve come a long way, and I want you to push on. 20 years, is just the beginning. The knots inside of you, will unravel soon. Happiness is in you, you just need to find it.

ANW,
this is gonna be my review/sponsorship experience at Nail Alcove!

It all started with this email

I was ECSTATIC.
I mean, this is different from winning a giveaway.
This is like an acknowledgement that my blog is actually read and visited by people
and I’m glad that I’m able to share good stuff with my readers ^^

Upon receiving the email,
I made an appointment the very next day, to go down with my babe Kim.
Check out her review on Nail Alcove here

Picture

The toes get some attention firsttttt

Picture

Happifeet helps to soften skin around heels before scrubbing to remove dead skin on your soles.

Picture

Getting a tickly foot scrub!

Picture

The Organic Wild Thyme Foot Scrub was used to exfoliate and allow better absorption of moisture. It also helps to relieve tired feet.

Picture

I chose the milk and honey body butter, smells great and is the most moisturizing out of the lot.

Picture

Massage heheh.

Picture

The cling wrap will help to lock in the moisture from the moisturizer!

Picture

Choosing colours is always the hardest part.

Picture

But first, let us take a selfie.

Picture

Chose a dark brown for my toes to cover the fungus :/

Picture

Chloe made the whole process so comfortable, I was falling asleep. ^^

Picture

The beautiful end result! Chloe did nail art for me, this design is in Nail Alcove’s March design wheel! Love the blues in this design <3
