Vichy if you didn’t ready know, is one of Europe’s top selling skincare brand.
Its leading products are: LiftActiv, Néovadiol, Aqualia, Cellebiotic, Normaderm, Dercos, Capital Soleil and more.
While I’ve heard about Vichy for a long long time now, I’ve never gotten hold nor tested any of their products till now. I am glad i did, and wondered how I had not found out about its goodness much earlier.
This is probably because I have problem skin and i’m not all too adventurous when it comes to acne spot treatments. Choosing to do for things like Differin and Dalacin T lotions from the dermatologist to help put my skin in the right condition.
But every since I’ve taken to Hylauspot. Vichy Hylauspot effectively eliminates 99.9% of pimple–causing bacteria in 2 hours. And removes your pimple in 48hrs. I guess what they meant is remove the redness and bacteria, as for scars left by pimples it really depends on how pigmented or prone to pigmentation your skin is.
For those who suffer from pigmentation – I will talk about Pynocare supplements that aid in whitening on another post
So far, Vichy Hyaluspot – is great choice for those who are acne prone. I’ve been using it well over a week now and it works well on fresh acne, and seems to help to dry out prevent new ones over night. Most acne lines out there are meant for younger skin and can be fairly harsh. I like this line because it smells so good and was super gentle on my face.
The Vichy Normaderm concentrate acts on the origin of the blemishes, relieves the sensation of irritation and reddening, dries the blemishes in 24 hours. Immediately the zone of eruption improves and reddening disappears progressively. At least it was what I experienced.
Concentrated active Normaderm anti-blemishes is the first treatment with salicilic acid (keratolitic active used in dermatology) and the Sebum-Control SC technology, for a double action: It exfoliates the skin and absorbs the blemish, drying them without attacking the skin.. It locally regulates the production of sebum to act on the blemish in its origin. Apply in the evening to the affected area and leave to act overnight. Can then be reapplied during the day to accelerate the imperfection’s disappearance.
Vichy says that regardless of what causes spots, it’s actually bacteria that is to blame. Hyaluspot contains hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid to create a clear ‘bandage’ on the skin to protect it from further bacteria and treat the spot. Hyaluronic acid, which helps create the ‘bandage’, is actually a pretty good moisturizer, but Vichy included it in the Hyaluspot formula so that it still feels comfortable on the skin. In clinical tests, 99.9% of the bacterial was gone within two hours (the amount is what scientists consider ‘over-contamination’, meaning there is still some bacterial on the skin like usual). The formula is also paraben/silicone free and hypoallergenic. Most users applied the formula twice a day, but since the effectiveness of the product relies on created a ‘bandage’ on the skin
