Watch Crazy Horse Paris and you’ll immediately be struck by how beautiful these ladies are and why they were all of the same height, physique and even boob size lol. See Crazy Horse dancers must meet the height requirement and the length of their legs must comprise two-thirds of the distance from shoulder to sole, that’s not all! Dancers are between 1.68 to 1.73m, anddddd they have to have an inter-nipple distance of 21cm *Gasp*. I reckon you’ve to be born this way – there’s really no other way and surgery is probably a no go. They do look au naturel!
But the show oh the show is beyond they beautiful physiques of course, I mean it is so well done that at times you just forget that they are all moving canvases with of course boobs and buns on show. At times, the show teases with with the light play – focuses on just certain parts of the bodies, revealing just bits and pieces, other times, the costumes and wigs and dance takes center stage and you just kind of forget they aren’t wearing much, other times you’re greeting with diamante nipple appliques lol, and all a guy could wish for? It’s cheeky , artistic and I didn’t think I would say this but I loved it. The lights on what I call ‘supermodel’ bodies melded so well together, that it isnt’ at all vulgar.
One thing we noticed when the show started was that the stage was pretty tiny! I don’t have the exact measurements but you’ll probably want to splurge on the more expensive seats so you can see proper. I sat at Row J , door 1 and it was a good distance! One of the highlights for me – I mean we all appreciate diversity hence there’s that 1 male performer in Crazy Horse or at least their Singapore run. And he’s this amazing pop & Lock dancer. I don’t know his name but boy was he fantastic. Aptly the segment was titled “Mr Fantastic”! I guess the show has something for everyone – the guys , the girls, the inbetweens. Even the arty farty crowd as the visual displays were quite something – something that didn’t exist 10 years back when we had CrazyHorse here in Singapore!
I had the privilege I guess to watch it back then and now and what a stark contrast it was , back then the show was …well just nudity. Nothing too artistic, nothing that left a statement in my young mind ( i was a mere 21 perhaps? ) and today – i was wowed by the show!
There’s much more than just the nudity that would leave an impression, there’s the music, the theatrics, the surprises, the tease, moments of comedy, and lots of sexy I guess.
Consession tickets can be bought for as low as $35 – for Students, Seniors and NSFs. I think its a good deal – I mean no doubt the seats are probably not the ones with the premium view but the theatre does make up for it with 2 large screens flanking the stage that projects the dancers in large format which is part of the whole show experience. Since no everyone can view the tiny stage that well . [There’s a reason why i ditch my contact lenses for glasses today!]
