LG Optimus G Pro – Singapore’s first 5.5 inch Full HD smart phone with a suite of Innovative & Convenient Features

Introducing the LG Optimus G Pro which comes with a 5.5-inch capacitive display.

Available Early July in Singapore at $868. Pricy but tempting if you asked me ( I’m still using my apple iphone 4 and I’m every so ready to get a new phone)

Know what seals the deal? The 3140 mAh battery!

The 4G LG Optimus G Pro model features a screen that is Full HD IPS Plus LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The LG phablet (Phone Tablet) doesn’t come have a stylus however. The phone runs on the latest Android version Jelly Bean 4.1.2, and comes with 2GB Ram, and 16GB internal memory , whereby your microSD cards can go up to even 64GB.

The phone measures 150.2mm x 76.1mm x 9.4mm

The 17Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor enhances its processing power supporting data transfers and resource intensive apps, and has a RAM of 2 GB.

LG Optimus G Pro comes with a 13 MP rear end snapper with LED flash and 2.1 MP front camera for video calling. The phone supports full HDR dual-video recording at 1080p@30fps. The camera supports geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization, panorama, HDR modes.

The phone is available in two colours – Indigo Black and Lunar White.

I had a hand at testing it out just last week and was pretty happy -first with its dual recording/dual camera function that allows you to record as well as take photos simultaneously.

There’s also a “cheese shutter”, hahaha. I found the whisky word to be quite hilarious but something so me.

With the QRemote 2.0 – you can use the embedded infrared (IR) technology to operate things like your TV , audio systems, home entertainment etc (how awesome is that?). It’s the world’s first smartphone equipped with an all-in-one remote :) supporting up to 9 devices!

Smart Video: With advance eye recognition technology, smart video recognizes the position of the viewer’s eyes and automatically plays or stops the video when you look away, walk away etc. The video resumes once you return to your seat or once you hold up your phone.

Also you can multitask (watch videos while you look up information on the internet perhaps, or navigate to other apps).

The bundled ear piece is note worthy too – featuring quadbeats. It’s alot better than anything I’ve ever seen from Apple..hahaha. (I still love apple gadgets tho)

And things like their translator which can come in quite handy as it recognized phrases, sentences or individual words if you like.

*Note wireless charging and dock sold separately. Covers can be bought on Q100 perhaps :)

Signing off with a crazy looking unicorn I’ve sketched on the notepad.
